Yeah ,I do that a lot. I just film as I go and put it up,You can tell huh? Thanks Scorpio, I'm not trying to win any awards for cinematography, ...Good thing huh? lol
great video! if you can find that old school i know you will roll the coins out! they are hard to find if the building is long gone, a plott map would help if you can find one. gongrats on the silver. ive been waiting all week for that video thanks!!!!!!!!!!
I have an aerial map, artifactman, and a guy I work with will get his 86 year old uncle to mark it for me. He grew up on that farm, , and went to the little school there. Ill wait till next year to go back though .Thanks
Great vid, LaDigger. I always enjoy your movies. I went out hunting for about 4 hours today. Hunted that spot where I found the Barber. Found newer coins, a little lock, a spent Winchester Repeater No. 12 shell and odds & ends. I dug all signals with conductivity higher than 40. Got fooled by some screwcaps and buried mashed cans. Tomorrow's a new day. Later. Dan
Thanks Dan . Sounds like u r doing great with the etrac,, Don't forget to dig some deep targets even if they are iffy to see whats down there . Those two silvers are good sign that there should be some deep silvers lurking in the shadows.Good Luck, and may that etrac reward you with many silvers...HH LaDigger
Great video!I hope to finally get out towards the end of the month, the snow should be all gone by then and the frost out of the ground.I will be using a Tesoro Cortes'
I used a tesoro conquistador umax , and I installed a G/B pot on it. Sweet little machine. I thought about the trying the cortes' . but decided to try a different brand at the time.Maybe one day. Its time for tesoro to come out with something new and different. I haven't been keeping up with them though, maybe they have. HH LaDigger
Tesoro sure is way behind in the times! They haven't built a new target id detector since 2001,that being the Cortes' I had a White's M6 and had some great success with it,but it didn't like our Canadian clad!I found allot of deep old silver with that detector!I even had my story published on the White's website! If your interested go to the White's site and type in M6 Saskatchewan under model used.I haven't even tried my new Cortes' out yet, very soon. The ground frost is disappearing!
Congratulation on Silver #27! I got my first silver war nickel of the years this afternoon at an old park a few blocks from my house, a 1942P Jefferson. I have about half the silvers as you this year, but Im hoping to have my new MXT tomorrow. I think it will help me a lot in the old but trashy parks. There are lots of silver coins in the ground but my ACE 250 has a hard time in the trashy areas. I learn a lot watching you work your coil. Thanks. HH
Thanks Stokes. I don't know if you are getting the 12" or9.5 stk coil. the 300 coil is too big for trashy areas so start saving up for a DD coil. You are really stepping up.Check out the whites official forum ,those MXT guys are finding some awesome stuff. HH LaDigger
LaDigger, I didnt get the MXT 300. I have used my friends and didnt like the 12 coil much. I like the new 10 DD coils much better for my needs, they get deeper and are much better at separation and when working difficult highly mineralized ground. So, though it better to go with the MXT with the 9.5 coil (I think its a better general use coil), and I also ordered the Whites 4x6 DD and the 10 DD EXcelerator coils.
dude dont use a pistol use a shovle or somthin its easyer and safer than a gun
