I got some of my old issued Army gloves, they absorb heat pretty well, they are just leather. Do you think they will help solve the heat issue when firing?
the sun glasses you are wearing are not good for shooting the convex in the lens will cause distortion to the eye's perception and will cause a "small miss" condition.use approved shooting glasses and it will enhance your shooting experience.
having said that nice shooting by the way ,not a bad group for 75 yards. personaly i like to kill the woodchucks at 100 yards with my Ruger old army .45 cal. cap and ball revolver.
im thinkin ofngetting the same weapon. Do you have anything to complain about with this weapon? Does the gun heat up quickly on the hand grip or the reciever?
I love it. It is light weight, tactical, practical, maneuverable, accurate, inexpensive compared to many other weapons in this class. The foregrip does get warm after running a few mags through it and I have also noticed the trigger getting warm after a couple hundred rounds with a lot of rapid fire. And, it can be difficult to find "over the counter" accessories for it. Other than that.... Great weapon! Thanks for commenting.
Crazy man, never seen the bullpup design in an AK style rifle. How's it affect recoil and accuracy compaired to a Russian/Romanian version of the original AK-47?
im scarred to buy one for one reason. if the machinery top were to blow off. (not because of the rifle, more a bad batch of ammo) it would go straight into your fucking face. looks cool though but im staying away from bullpups incase if a get a bad batch of ammo. cause when you run shity ammo through an AK, ive seen the Machinery cover blow off, rifle still works but im not having it near my face.
nice video, love bullpup design. out of sheer curiosity i wanted to know if before the video you shit yourself and slathered feces and other fecal matter on your lower back?
Yes, the Mosin Nagant is an accurate rifle chambered in 7.62 x 54. (It was the Natzi sniper rifle in WWII). I used to blow up gallon milk jugs filled with water from 200 yards with mine.
I have a 1940 model.
Is yours (Mosin) original, or has it been "sporterized"?
@raybone3 I take no pleasure in correcting you, but the Mosin Nagant is a russian rifle, the germans didn't use them. They germans used the Gewher 98 and k98 rifles. However some russian snipers used Mosin's to kill many many germans, reportedly nearly 1000 by one sniper.
Mine is original and besides putting a scope on it (I'll probably put a pso-1 dragunov scope on it since I'll take the gun deer hunting, that way it'll be somewhat original) it'll be original.
Actually the Mosin Nagant was the standard issue rifle for Russian troops from 1889 up until about 1954. The Germans used the K98k with a very early rendition of a mil-dot scope for sniping.
I buy these at the range for about a buck each. You can probably look them up online somewhere and find them. And the "High viz" stickers you can get at Walmart.
That's the southeast Texas sportsmanship club " a family place to shoot " I did slot of shooting there before Ike... Is this after Ike? If so looks like it made out ok. And is that little gun shop in Vidor still open?
Yeah I loved that shooting range, first range I had ever used with a 300 yard section. They were even talking about putting a 1000 yard section right next to the range house. But I miss Texas for many reasons one being the gun laws.
I am currently building my collection back up, and just bought a Ruger P95 with my tax return woo hoo, idk if ou have one but they are great quality and a great price.
im sorry but if ur gunna have a bullpup gun u need to make the fuckin coking mechanism on the the top or something dude u could fucking hurt urself with one on the side lol
They are good rifles, and the bullpup design is pretty advantageous, but I can't get over the awkward loading and charging. I have a buddy that has one of these from Century, True the trigger is a bit tight, but you don't buy an AK for finesse or true "Accuracy"- you buy them because you know when you pull the trigger, its going to go BOOM. Nice rifle, man.
I've been thinking of getting one of these, but I've read that the trigger action is very sloppy due to the indirect linkage to the FCG. Whats you opinion on the trigger action compared to a regular AK?
I wouldn't call the trigger pull "sloppy", however, due to the linkage that actuates the trigger, it does have a stronger trigger pull than a normal AK.
It is just a matter of getting used to.
If you are not expecting a strong trigger pull, it will affect your accuracy because you will tend to pull off the target. But, as you can see from the video, it is still a pretty accurate weapon, even on a windy day.

Not sure how this one compares to the original AK. I don't own an original AK. The accuracy is pretty good, as you can see from the video.

@raybone3 The Mosin Nagant is a Soviet WWII era rifle, not NAZI (or NATZI). The main German rifle in use during WWII was the Mauser Kar98.
xgreciandelightx 1 year ago
@raybone3
Mosin was the RUSSIAN sniper and in large infantry weapon.
The Kar98 among a few other weps would be the equivalent NAZI sniper rifle.(actually the KAR is superior)
AmeriCIA 1 year ago
@raybone3
I am pretty sure that the Mosin Nagant came out of the USSR and was a Ruskie gun.
Are you getting them confused? The Mauser and the Nagant?

You do know your shooting ranges. I'm not sure, but I think this may have been before Ike. They have made lots of improvements recently.
I'm not sure which gun shop you are refering to in Vidor, but there are still a few in the Orange area.

The shorter overall length also gives you better control in my opinion.
I usually hold it in a two handed pistol grip and it is pretty well balanced from this position.
