  • Awesome!

  • can you sell me one? I have my florida venomous permit.

  • Sorry, but we try to only breed venomous that we need to have here- so we rarely have surplus.

  • rattlenakes are terrifying!!!

  • Really cool video.

  • A truly beautiful and imposing species of rattlesnake. Sorry you got so many duds though. :(

  • Two easy questions:

What's the easiest way to tell the difference between an Eastern DB and a Western DB?

Do you have any Northern Pacific rattlesnakes? I think it's cool the way their pattern changes to stripes on their tail.

  • Well, the easiest way is to know where they are from.

Easterns are typically dark brown in their background coloration, while westerns are lighter, usually tan, grey, or dirty yellow. Westerns also have the very high contrast 'coon tail'- the tail has black and white banding on it. Easterns have banding, but it is darker- check out the mothers in the video for a good example.

We don't have any northern pacifics right now- but I agree, they are pretty.

  • congrats

  • My friend you have some of the nicest looking animals I have seen. Congrats on more babies!

  • my favorite Crotalus species!!!!very nice

  • congratulations, how many babies she's born?

  • She is very young and this was our first attempt at breeding her. She had 3 healthy babies and 11 slugs(infertile egg masses)Some of my other older females have 12 to 14 healthy neonates when we breed them.

  • nice!
