heads up, most people are in debt anyways or have no credit b/c they haven't spent money on any type of line of credit.

A Mac was my first credit card purchase and was the foundation for my low interest car loan. There's a difference in spending the money in your safety net vs. spending a little from savings and then financing the rest.

More young adults need to learn how a credit car and loan works and be responsible so they can plan for their future credit.

Since Both Windows and Mac OS are hackable then the price factor isn't much of an issue.

I will admit that the new Mac offerings look very cool. But I still choose to build Windows based PC's For sheer power. I have a Sandy Bridge E 16 Gig DDR3 with 3 way sli 580s and a FX 8150 system with Dual 6970 and also 16 gigs DDR3.. Both have a SSD Boot and 2TB storage. ASUS Rampage IV (2011) socket and a Gigabyte 990 XFA UD7 for the FX CPU Both use Corsair Ram and 1200 Watt PS. Hackintosh ?? I might.

I think the missunderstanding is about the high price or Mac vs the same configuration (CPU,RAM HDD ect,ect ) that is typical of PC type platforms. To me it all falls to what the

"User Experience" is and that varies from person to person. The main difference between modern Mac's and PC's ( besides price)are the Software... as the internal components of a Mac can also be used for a PC platform minus the monitor and other external hardware devices.

I bought a mac very recently and like alot of PC folk and either Linux users I was very much the same about a mac. Though I must say as a developer its the best piece of kit i have ever bought. It has the same memory and processor as alot of laptops probably less and its performance is so much better, the whole hardware software combination works so well. Its built on top of linux so it has all the best bits of linux. You really should try one before doing what i done and just rubbishing it.
