The truth is Bush's plan was 2-fold from the very start, both a military/security effort and a political/diplomatic effort. I mean, we did establish free elections, we did help the Iraqis shape a proper government, and we helped them rebuild their infrastructure.

I really don't know how the Obama regime can sit there with a straight face and take credit for a "political" solution in Iraq.
