original xbox games do not require an elite system. original xbox games depend on emulation patches that where released trough xbox live. even then, not all games where emulated and the project seems to have been forgotten by microsoft.

you have a Jasper core, they have been out for about a year now, so its no surprise to find them in refurbished. keep in mind that many of these supposed refurbs are actually new systems that where returned to the store for some reason but cannot be sold as new. the power adapter brick is standard,they are all that big.

please elaborate, assuming both the pro and the arcade have the same board version and the arcade has been upgraded to a 60 or 120 GB drive? its the same xbox. At the time this video was made, only the arcades had the Jasper chipset, which is more resilient to RROD. Pros and Elites where mostly Falcons. it makes no sense to pay more for bundled games that no one plays or HDMI cables that can be had for less than $5 separate.

consider yourself lucky, MS used different contractors to manufacture the boards, not all the contractors had high quality standards, coupled with the initial board designs that used inadequate heat sinks and that caused many people to have overheating chipsets, known as RROD. Still, you do not need to insult those who have not fared as well as you.

Ms used different chinese contractor for manufacture, among those Foxconn, who also manufacture the slim PS2. because of the use of different chinese contractors, build quality was not standardized, this problem has affected many MS products, such as the Zune. The wet towel trick is a passive cooling method for people who are experiencing RROD, since you mentioned that you have never experienced it , there is no point to you doing it.

The whole point of the towel trick is to fry the core hardware and cool it off making it to work, although i have never experienced the rrod i do not know.

Pues no se que el lo que le encrontraste de guapa, el la misma caja que los modelos anteriores, lo importante es los nuevos componenetes electronicos internos, que evitan el sobre calientamento. Lo que no me gusto de el Jasper comparado con el Falcon, es el ruido que hacen los nuevos ventiladores, pero es una minima lata comparado con tener la confianse que no se va a quemar i tener los malditos anillos rojos.
