What a great idea I'm sure many ppl will benefit from your wisdom. Even with other ppl's films. I suspect there will be a flood of submissions I hope you don't get too overwhelmed.

It's fine if you submit more than one video, but I almost certainly won't critique more than one film from one individual.

There has been some confusion on this. What I meant for people to do was to simply insert their YouTube usernames, not their actual names, because I understand not every is comfortable or allowed to post their full name on the internet.  So, your YouTube username will do just fine, but actual names are alright too.

great! This sounds a really good idea! I would submit a video but it's in two parts as it is about 12 mins long plus i'm not that pleased with it. Although I am a perfectionist so I'm open to the idea...

Interesting... But why is it BRIC CRITIC instead of BRICK CRITIC?

To put it simply: it's a gimmick. Dropping the "k" in "brick" makes "bric" more closely match "critic". Now both words end in "c".

Hey there! I was wondering if I could upload a Brickfilm to my Channel then send it to you via a YouTube message? In the description I would say that I had entered the 'BRIC CRITIC' (competition) set up by Nathan Wells. Is that ok?

That won't work, because I need the actual video file. However, I don't need you to send me the actual video file at the moment, all I need you to do is send me a YouTube message with a link to your video you want me to critique. If I chose it, I will contact you and then ask you for a video file, and we can work out a way for you to get it to me.

I put the Brickfilm on YouTube and send you a YouTube message with a link to my Brickfilm (which will take you to a YouTube page with my video on it) and you critique it and maybe choose it and I somehow give you the video file (Quicktime) and that's all fine and good? Sorry for being so ignorant, though. :) Thanks for answering! You're a great help!

No no, it's fine, don't be sorry! Yes, that's exactly what I want. If I decide to critique your film, I will contact you and we can arrange a way of me getting a file of it. Probably email would work fine, but for larger files we could arrange a server upload. Don't be sorry for asking questions, I am sure many others are wondering the same thing. I wasn't exactly the clearest in my video.
