Thoughts of a proper use "rig":

with a core duo at around 2.5-2.7 Ghz

with 2-4 GB of DDR2 800 or 1066 Mhz

At a price of around... 300-350

What are your thoughts for this? =]

Get AMD, Much cheaper for, bang for the buck. I have a AMD Athlon X2 7850 2.8 GHz Black edition, With my sapphire 4830, I run cs at 130+ fps with 30+ people in a server

AMD isnt cheaper. AMD motherboards cost ALOT more and most dont even support ddr3 ram.

A core Duo or Quad I would say,I don't trust AMD...

A core duo clocked at ...25-2.8 GHz

Or,as a last resort,an Intel Core i7 920 (or 940 if you have a really really really deep pocket...)

(around 500 Euros) but 940 is clocked at 2.99 Ghz which is very fast :D

It is the sapphire, I don't think it makes much difference which one you get. BUT! The sapphire has a better fan in my eperience than most other types, mine is always cooler than my cousins, it never gets hot. Though neither one of them has ever overheated.

with VIDEO STRESS TEST i have max* 289fps

but when i play it goes sometimes to 80 because of details * FPS is nothing in public *

It is at the highest specs, and that is at 1366x768 resolution though. I play in a 16:9 aspect ratio. If I were to dumb it down it'd run alot smoother. Of course without fraps it is like 90 fps. The video didn't look like complete bullshart till youtube converted it to flv.
