@danniedeleon If you like this song, you would probably like their 1978 made-for-TV movie "All You Need is Cash" (a parody on the career of the Beatles). George Harrison even has a cameo role. Mick Jagger, Ron Wood, Bianca Jagger, Paul Simon, Gilda Radner, and many other celebs have minor roles in it. John Lennon is said to have loved the music in the movie. My favorite actor in the movie is Eric Idle (Dirk McQuickly)...this is the Paul character. Neil Innes plays "Ron Nasy" (John).
@danniedeleon Hope you enjoy the movie. I think the more one knows about their Beatle history, the more one can appreciate the movie's humor. BTW, I believe there is a fleeting, somewhat comical, reference to the Everton Football Club. That is one of the two football clubs in Liverpool....the other being the Liverpool FC.
the fact that they chose to have a Hindu guy play the part of George Harrison is a laugh in itself. then there's Barry Wom, doing Ringo, a riot! to quote Lennon, "when we get big-headed, i just look at Ringo and know that we're not Supermen".
They wrote "Hold My Hand" espicially for the American audience, hoping it would be well recieved when they came to America. It was. They sang it live in DC when they first came, then they rushed up to New York to perform it again (the next night I believe) on the Ed Sullivan show, as you can see here.
I loved the album Meet the Rutles

Problem with Rutles CDs is when you start listening to them, you almost don't want to hear the Beatles anymore! They are that good!

@Valentino4367 I'm going to guess It's a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. Later became the SG because Les hated the shape.
