Such a huge difference. 19 years is a lot of time to change and clean up Times Square and it went from a place of every day fear and crime, to a place of popularity and a place for fun, family and enjoying NYC. I cant believe that this was the reality back in the early 90's; Mayor Giuliani really did a good job fixing up Times Square =)
1992 was when Times Square was in transition. A lot of the porn theatres were shuttered by this year, but the Disney didn't arrive to make the area family friendly until '93 or '94 I believe.
