This is a great idea. Helps people like myself keep up to date with what you are doing and if I want to come out and see you guys before season this blog let's me know I'm welcome. Love to learn from a legend like yourself.
Two words: Cutting Edge. Such a great idea. This is what drives and fuels a loyal fan base! I like hearing the info straight from Coach Carroll himself, rather than a writer from some blog or newspaper.
Great job, Coach! We appreciate what you're doing and looking at all the ways New Media can assist in opening communication and exciting the fan base. You guys are at the forefront of this.
If you can, try and rig up a light so that your face isn't so dark. The people want to see Pete! Get some film school kids to help you out of your communications guys are busy. You've got some of the best in the world...might as well put 'em to use!
I'm not a USC fan in general, but I love college . football. The video blog format for coaches you are pioneering is excellent; it allows a fan to hear the free thoughts of a coach, rather than the reactive video from after-practice press briefings, and has told me more about fall camp at USC than hundreds of press and pundit clippings. Thanks Coach Carroll!
keep vloggin it is awesome and keep up the great coachin and recruiting at USC

Hey Ben Malcolm, ask coach Carroll if he's concern if more players go down to injuries as were getting close to the season opener.
I love the video blog. I hope Coach Carroll communicates more frequently.
FIGHT ON! Ben!
Good Job against Notre Dame in '06! Haha!

sounds like the starting qb position is as up in the air as ever. any chance we'll see both quarterbacks with equal playing time against SJSU?

Great idea using video. Perhaps you might add some video from practice to illustrate some points. I agree that you need more light on your face.

This was great. I wish more coachs would do this. It provides the fans with a little more
"personal" time with their teams.
