I found a list of over 51 clean (kosher) animals alone x14 = 714 - and these are mostly big animals such as deer, cows, moose etc - and 714 is not including the birds...

A biblical kind is actually a much broader classification of animals than that of a species, also considering that there have been over 4000 years of speciation taking place, there likely would have been less species back during the flood era than what we would see at the present

The currently accepted parameter of species has been distorted due to speciation of the last several thousand years as a result of allopatric and sympatric speciation. After the flood era one biblical kind would have eventually diverged into several different species over several thousand years. Yea, just like the others below me, this video is a satire. And the apostles used such forms of communication as well. Jesus also used such methods of inquiry to press peoples beliefs in a militant messiah. Satire is not inherently an evil method of conversation. And try not to mistaken an English, white, and well groomed man on television as Christ... The Bible even states that He was unpleasant to the eye. We can surely state that He was no Hugh Jackman.

Vintage 21 is actually a christian church and they even said that when they made these videos, they made them with the intent of making fun of how non-Christians view our religion and Jesus. ...And there were about 5,000 species of mammals at that time - 8,000 Reptile Species - 10,000 Bird Species - 80,000 Arachnid Species (spiders and such) - and up to 30,000,000 insect Species. Now double these figures...
That's about 46,000 Mammals, Birds, and Reptiles alone...
Then answer me this, why is there a clear separation of species on different continents? Australia, The Americas, Africa Europe, Asia...

With a good discussion, this can be a great tool to help Christians understand the picture of Jesus we are up against

These videos were not made to make fun of Jesus. Vintage 21 is actually a christian church and they even said that when they made these videos, they made them with the intent of making fun of how non-Christians view our religion and Jesus. After knowing that I thought that these videos were very humorous simply because I know some people who actually believe Jesus really acts like this and that this is what Christianity is about

I love this, it made me laugh so hard. I don't believe this makes fun of Christ or I would say so passionately. The real old Jesus videos depicting the gospel--it makes fun of the quality of them and also what other religions maybe think of the bible as--just a "cuttable" play script.

I already know it would be near physical impossibility to build an ark large enough to hold 2 of every species on earth - throwing out a guess I'd say it would have to be at least as big as a few aircraft carriers...
These are no tiffs by the way, it's serious business when so many people are fooled into believing such ridiculousness (religion) to the point where it effects the rest of us. It's all fake - every bit of it - if you educate yourself you'll come to the same conclusion.

I know it tells how big the ark was... why dont you research it into feet or meters and then compare it to the size of the titanic or some other large capacity vessels. then do some research on how many species of animal there are on the earth. try to imagine how much food, water and other supplies would also be needed. Noah would've needed a large fleet of arks with the biblical dimensions in order to complete this task... it's on you to find out... go ahead...

Genesis 6:15 says it was to be 450 ft long, 75 ft wide, and 45 ft high. compared to the titanic, which was 882 ft long, 92 ft wide, and 59 ft high. so titanic was bigger, but the Bible doesn't mention the animals traveling in style. two of each animal? only a miracle, but then, don't Christians pretty much operate on miracles?

That's about 46,000 Mammals, Birds, and Reptiles alone...
Then answer me this, why is there a clear separation of species on different continents? Australia, The Americas, Africa Europe, Asia...

So there are many many events in the bible that we all know completely fail on the logical side, and this is the response "God defies logic" - what get's me is, why does this God character have this Noah character build a boat that obviously won't fit even a small fraction of the animals it would have to carry in order to be accurate - and then use "Godly" magic to ?shrink? all the animals so the flawed plan could actually work??? Why not just use magic in the first place???

The point of these videos aren't to belittle Jesus or to make fun, the point of these videos are to inform Christians how the world can misinterpret us. If this video was made with the right intentions, which it states that it was, we should not be putting them down for it.

I'm trying to understand what the heck this church is trying to accomplish by making these. I just don't get it. How could they possibly think this is God-honoring? Or did that even cross their minds? I guess everyone in Raleigh already knows Christ? They don't need to actually preach the Gospel, but instead put out garbage like this?

@kdbrich They are trying to help people understand the falsehoods surronding Jesus and the church. It's an entertaining way to do it, but some of this stuff people believe about Jesus. With a good discussion, this can be a great tool to help Christians understand the picture of Jesus we are up against

these videos are to show what Jesus isn't like. he is the total opposite in real life. its easier to show what jesus is like if you see the opposite of heaven. god is a loving person and loves everyone. he will always forgive us. that doesn't mean we can just go out and sin all the time, we need to try, but nobody's perfect. that means everyone sins at some point. but no matter what, god is there for you.
