I agree the tempo is slow but I quite like it. Think I will try for a little faster than this but not as speedy as some versions I've heard. You do have a lovely voice.

I didn't decide the tempo at all! In fact, I wanted to sing it a lot faster, but the organist didn't agree.

@DaMum Technically, the organist is the accompanist, so he has no say at the speed at which the lead wishes to sing. I've heard faster versions, and I think your voice would sound beautiful with it too. I love this version too though :)

@DaMum Probally he didn't practice enough? JK! With the strings it works in a faster tempo, but with just conitnuo perhaps this tempo slightly perkier does work better.
