The reality is that many people regardless of race have an issue with how much they get paid. Most imigrants can care less about how much they make, they only care about working. My peers whom I went to school with get offended when they are only offered 8 dollars an hour. How can you work your way up if your not willing to start from the bottom?

I worked for the federal goverment for 23 years and lost my job. I was due for retirement and my manager discriminated against me and terminated me. I had to fight for unemployment and won. I filed a wrongful termination lawsuit but that will be dismissed next month because the federal goverment is allowed to discriminate against its employees and you can't do nothing about it. I have all the evidence to win my case but I have no case because I cannot sue for wrongful termination. This is nuts.

I am Black and I believe the issue is education and know how. White people are more inclined to go to school and also have a connection in the job force. My mom tells me all the time how poor and stupid the kids are. She is great a teacher. The final test was to turn in 4 college applications that it. Half of the class didn't even turn in the assigment. Than, she gave them an extra day to do it. Nothing. Who fault is that? 16 to 17 kids are mature and know right from wrong.

The inner city schools and other black schools scored 4's and 7's on average on the test. To pass the test a school should be at 9 at least. I worked for the federal goverment for 23 years and lost my job. I was due for retirement and my manager discriminated against me and terminated me. I had to fight for unemployment and won. I filed a wrongful termination lawsuit but that will be dismissed next month because the federal goverment is allowed to discriminate against its employees and you can't do nothing about it. I have all the evidence to win my case but I have no case because I cannot sue for wrongful termination. This is nuts.

I am Black and I believe the issue is education and know how. White people are more inclined to go to school and also have a connection in the job force. Black people are more inclined not to go to school and not have any good connections in corporate america. My mom is a teacher in the inner city and says that alot of the kids are worthless and completly hates her job. She use to work in white school, completely oppisite.

My mom tells me all the time how poor and stupid the kids are. She is great a teacher. The final test was to turn in 4 college applications that it. Half of the class didn't even turn in the assigment. Than, she gave them an extra day to do it. Nothing. Who fault is that? 16 to 17 kids are mature and know right from wrong.

The inner city schools and other black schools scored 4's and 7's on average on the test. To pass the test a school should be at 9 at least. The only difference is that the majority of the white schools are more prepared to take the test and already alot of the skills to take the test before they start praticing. They even belittled my resume not even knowing what a participation bank is, or what international transaction and trade specialist is. Most of my experience comes from overseas. anyway most africans in afrca sees us as lazy until they come here and hit the wall of institutional racism. Race will always be the issue as long as there are people which allow others to manipulate them and the circumstances of some in black communities. Blacks thinks the struggle is over but we have statistics institutions still using the 1977 Standard. Obviously, there are areas needing to be redefined. Those African American ages 16 - 24 have a rate of 35% unemployment when they typically are in school or college anyway. Something is wrong with statistics first off in singling out black men.

I am black. I had both parents growing up, a good family structure, and I worked hard at a school.
I am from a family of 5 brothers and sisters. 2 my siblings and I have graduate degrees and make comfortable salaries. My parents never went to college. The problem with many in the black community is that there are too many children born out of wedlock. It is not a "black" problem. It is an American problem. Black Africans and Black Latinos and blacks in the Caribbean aren't like black Americans

And then the government paid for much of my college. And when I needed a job, the Army took me in. And in three months when I leave the Army, I will manage my own business. I would advice you to watch "Stupid in America." The per capita spending on education has quadrupled in this country, yet students are not performing any better. Right now I am in the Army, and I am saving more than half of my paychecks to start a business with my best friend, who also pooled his savings with me.
You see, money does not grow on trees. Nobody will give you anything. If you want to start your own business and hire people of your own community, then start saving up.

Hmm, I am still not sure why you would think that the American Economic and Social Structure is working to keep the Black Men down. Is the end goal of Capitalism not to create a population of consumers? Then how would deliberately keeping a large segment of the population poor make them good consumers? In order to have people buying your stuff, you need people who can actually afford to buy your stuff. Thus purposefully "keeping the Black Men" down does not make any sense.

@DifangDuana That is a naive rationalization. As comedian Paul Mooney might put it "Racism trumps capitalism." Racist ideology and practice always seems to come first over pure economic philosophy. Black people already are consumers. You don't need to eliminate racism to benefit from black spending. So what is left? Keeping the black man down of course. Once you combine housing segregation with economic deprivation and lack of schooling, you get this mess.

But by all means we should make every effort to create our own businesses. If you cant see that there is something behind a two to one unemployment rate, and how the white man is historically (and presently), I dont know what to say for you. I can speak from personal experience and say that they are deliberately firing black men intentionally for being black men.

Create your own sounds easy. But when you dont own any money, and cant afford basic things its difficult. And historically when black people did have successful capitalist ventures like in Oklahoma city in the early 1900's, white people literally came in and burned it down, or paved a freeway splitting the black community. A freeway like in every major city coming from the suburbs straight to the downtown area by and for white people.

@question772000 Good points. You can open your own business and employ your "own" but in the end, the economic and social structure of America works against African-Americans. The economy works against the financial interests of black people and the social structure and manufractured stigmas keep blacks down.
