bull, they're not cancelling anything this is a publicity/press stunt. This series is everything they wanted it to be, and there are many more fans than half the crap that's on tv. For those of you who download the episodes, go out and watch a few on cable to support. Look forward to season 3 as planned.

Seriously man, don't go and get peoples hopes up (like mine). Unless you can state a reliable source from where you got this information, just hold your tongue. I absolutely loved Stargate Universe and I check every single day to see if it's been picked up by someone else. I would love it if what you said was true, but you're just going to disappoint people.

they canceld it because not everyone thought it was that great , at first i hated it because of how different it was compared to the other star gate series, it was a drama series not action like SGA or SGC so that is probally why it coudnt last half as long,all the people who watched this show online or through netflix etc did not help the cause , since Sci-fi[i still call it by original name not the stupid syfy] didnt get enough viewers watching it they pulled the plug on season 3

why on EARTH did they cancel this show ?! it was great ! i admit, chloie was a pretty crap character, but some of the others were great ! the young vs rush war was getting really intense ! im just dumbfounded by the actions of the Men With All The Money.

@BlauerGeist yeah...its different because it isnt ... this scene is taken from the first two episode...the producers answered in an interview that the destiny undergoes several visits by other ships and aliens who are watching them..

@BlauerGeist no your right i think, that it was an alien ship attached to destiny in order to track it, its kinda funny coz when like 15 episodes later it actually becomes important i couldnt really remember that bit but w/e i suppose they planned pretty far ahead
