I was at this incredible show and still have my 35mm pics and the poster from LL. Amazing that you are able to share this. Don't apologize for the quality.
this was taped at Liberty Lunch in Austin,TX. Fans of bubble puppy: they are going to most likely be playing at threadgills south in Austin on memorial day..I can't wait!!!
Love this...rod is my dad...I think I was like 3 during their 80's reunion...where was this taped? Check out the Austin Music Awards videos from last weekend...they still got it!!!
@muzikmann2728 Yes, I agree. They were ahead of their time. This song was so different and progressive at the time. I was like 15 or 16. Aaaaaahhhhh!!!
Roy Cox is the bass player and lead singer and co wrote the song with Rod Prince, I posted it to Todd and Fuzzy's (DRUMMER) Facebook page. Do you have any other footage from this VHS?
I played with these guys a few times back in the day at Love Street and other places around 1968 thru 1970 or so - They were the best band in Texas until ZZ Top came along - It may be coincidence but, that's about when Bubble Puppy moved to LA and changed their name to Demian - thanks for posting this!
Saw them live in El Paso at The Colliseum around 1969. They blew Steppenwolf off the stage.

He's right it is historice in that they have no film themselves and their American Bandstand appearance was lost to an accident.
