  • As a loyal Welshman watching this, I feel so proud to be allied to Scotland and to England. You just feel such an incredible sense of loyalty and devotion. God. This Kingdom means so much to me. I would gladly die for it tomorrow - and for The Queen.

  • @EnglishAndBeautiful why would you gladly die for the Queen? what has she ever done for you?

  • @username1me she rules our land which is free and democratic , its called loyalty to your country and she is our queen, i dont think he ment he would go fight specifically for her personally

  • Literal meaning is "old long since" which really means "days gone by" or "long long ago". The dialect is old Ayrshire which is where Burns was from (lowland Scotland)

  • old long since = very long ago
