Bill - great video. The AVC - Alabama Volunteer Corps made in 1860/61 by the Scovill Mf'g Co. of CT. Got to love that one. Also there is a note: "Collectors rarely see the 23mm dia. buttons in comparison to the 21 mm counterparts...often called "overcoat buttons" simply because of their size. Button style also made with Baltimore and Mobile versions according to W.K. Tice, Uniform Buttons of the US 1776-1865, page 247. Cool find and great video.
