The syncing looks great, the movements of the mouth to shape certain words looks like they could use a little more work. "You" for example does not have the same pucker that you have when you say the word. Other than that, the sync itself looks great.

If I remember correctly, LDragon uses Poser for the animation and rendering; There are several packages out there that are free that can make the obj meshes - Blender is just one. XSI/Mod Tool has a polygon limit, but it's free, too.

I normally use a combination of MilkShape 3D and Hexagon 2.5, with additional utilities to perform other mesh clean-up tasks.

This particular model, however, was created in some version of Maya.

The lipsync is decent, but the model needs work. It looks a lot like the one Itoril made a while ago-- probably due to technical limitations. 3D animation is still, at least for the modest home-user, after all, in its infancy.

I think Scappo and Tsampikos both made pictures of renamon that are closer to the mark. if you want some reference.

No. In fact, I've finally received version 2 from RyokuKitsune, so first I'll need to adapt my current rigging to the new mesh, refit those two clothing items I'd made for her, and then start over on the morphs. Also, Renamon isn't the only project on which I'm working. So it may well be a few weeks before I can finish her.

What comes to lipsynch, this needs a lot more work and effort put to mouth gestures, lips, mobility, stretchyness and compression of mouth.

And, why Renamon?

How about trying to draw out the facial gestures more on paper first. This looks so still and undertoned. If making a singing piece with a head in closeup, you need to add a lot more emotion, head tilts, neck curvatures and lower eyelid / mouth corners interactivity to make it look interesting.

Thanks. I modeled the teeth myself. Probably should have toned down the maxillary canines a bit, but they really do seem to be that pronounced in most species of fox.
