Do you know how to tell the Males from the Females with this species? I have one, but I don't know if its male or female. I also don't know very much about fish.
he prob put them in the small tank too purposly fight and second dud nice set of fish u got their i have one hes very small like 2 or 3 inches nice oxygenation
i just measured the butterfoferi that i bought and he/she is about 8 inches...he/she also has orange on the very tips of his fins. how can i tell the sex?

they are no longer in that tank, they roam in 6 foot tank now..

if you're trying to get them to breed, separate them with eggcrate and put them in a bigger tank!
