dont listen to DRZSuzook he is completely wrong about echo1. they do have both high and low quality guns and this is one of the high grade guns. It is a highly recommended gun for beginners. That guy must have something up his butt.

This gun is $255 on ASGI...why the hell would you pay that much for a heap of junk echo1??? Especially when for $5 more you can have a proline G&G, and for $15 more you can have a proline Classic Army. And asgi has a G&P for $5 cheaper!! And even worse, you can get an ARES M4 for $20 Cheaper.

So what if it comes with a battery and charger, both are trash worthy right out of the box.

Please if you are a new player, dont buy this overpriced crap when you ca have something so much better!!

@cameron00101 the echo 1 AK-47 is basically a Cyma that Echo 1 has made much better.. (not rebranded) and my friend just bought a cyma ak-47 and it is extremely accurate and powerful.. the ironisights on it are perfect.. so if you want an already good gun that has been made better, i would go with the AK

I wonder how much better CA has gotten compared to 2008.

Their older models suck, I had their M15a4 Carbine and that broke within 3 days, the gears were stripped, the fuse was broken, the wires were cut up (who knows how that even happens), piston teeth broke. That is the internals, externally wise one of the pins that keep the body in place is stripped and now the carbine can't be fixed, and the stock was broken during shipping.

Also, I bought a CA M15a4 Rifle (Sportline) just to see if the one carbine was a dud. Well, the rifle works, but some things have broken on it.

The stock had a seem and when I gently, gently put the rifle down the seems broke, the charging handles spring went lose, and the plastic piece that makes the dust cover go down broke of the charging handle. All in all, never go with CA, and now I'm going to try out Echo 1.

@airsoftmz ICS, Classic Army, SRC (gen 3's) those are a few ICS has better parts but some of them are proprietary although thier guns have functions that could amaze ares like split gearbox or the 3 pinned spring guide. KWA does not have as good parts but they can be replaced easily. CA has better internals and better externals and is fully compatible with upgrades- they are a long lasting gun. SRC has fantastic internals and externals that are about equal.

Ics is just awful. Its split gear box is a great idea but lets face it they can’t handle anything above 400fps reliable. Also I think there bearings are 6mm and because their gearbox shell is unique I think it be hard to find a gearbox shell with 8mm bearings. CA can hold a candle to the kwa internals.They have crappy internals., SRC gen 3 614 are amazing all admit it. They are probably better with their stock tbb barrel. IV herd their almost impossible to upgrade though.

Again why would you go there... and just FYI the 3 hole spring guide allows for 380fps 420 fps and 440 fps with the same spring so I do in fact know that stock they can run higher. KWA although you think is grand their internals often break very commonly the piston head and tappet plate. Inexpensive fix but they break. CA guns have internals better then KWA lower then TM, they last 3 years+

@bmanf i dot think their m4 have the 3 hole system spring guide.I thought that wast just their l85 and sigs(which dont have split gearbox) And trust CA internals do BREAK a lot.I have had personal experience with them .Maby me and my friends just have bad luck. Still kwa has 8mm bearing,9mm on the new models.Metal spring guides with bearings.Best gears iv seen stock.They out perform <in my opinion, CA,TM,, and ICS.

I owned both. I like the E1 best. Its cheaper, more accurate, the hop up doesn't brake like on my KWA, also the gearbox didn't crack into four pieces. I have two friends who own KWAs also, both their hop-ups broke, the one with the M16 had his selector switch fail. The other friend had his gearbox crack. the only KWA I would recommend would be the G36.
