  • If you want to sell this, reply to my message...thanks

  • Garex should probably pay you a commission because you just sold at least one of those long wire antennas for them.. I can't wait till it arrives..

  • neat little rxer. i had a dream where i bought one, maybe i should.lol

  • Yeap, most sensitive and superb selectivity on HF and MW Broadcast, my AOR8200 may have better display and more features but it'll never come close to the trusty 7100 on HF SSB!

For mobil use I hooked it up to an old Wilson CB antenna and it turned out to be a great set up for HF; VHF and UHF are not bad at all.

  • Ya super radio alright, but it has its quirky moments (mine does,at least). Still, I'd never part with it even though I've a few different other hand helds- 2 Uniden & 1 Yaesu, and a couple of good base recievers...

  • This is a great demonstration of Ham-QSO voice in

SSB on Yupiteru MVT-7100 wideband receiver, feeding from a wire antenna. I'd also wonder how the built-in telescopic antenna works knowing it's probably the most sensitive scanner ever made for HF reception.

  • The Yupi is a legend ! I got mine 12 years ago when i was a teenager ! I'm still using it today !

  • oh it is HAM-QSO voice.

MVT-7100 is great reciever to me too.

YUPITERU is JUPITER everybody knows it.

    in JAPAN..MVT-7300 is latest one.

  • great radios

  • this is a special longwire antenna i'm using made by garex why would i need to use the telescopic??

  • how about the telescopic antenna
