No settings or options will improve the problems above. IVE TRYED EVERYTHING.

I have this laptop it's a absolute piece of shit. Internet Explorer takes about 3 minutes to open, and Google Chrome takes about a minute and 30 seconds I believe. There is not one virus on this computer. I have a really expensive top-notch virus scanner/remover. I've cleared my memory, deleted several programs, files, etc. I have also cleaned up my disk drive and defragmented it also. NO IMPROVEMENTS.

Just got a used one of these off ebay and It will be a nice upgrade from my Asus eeepc with 8.9" screen. I do have ubuntu linux on my asus and intend to run it on the Dell. I rarely buy brand new things anymore. You can get older models for so so so much cheaper and they work great.

the only thing i don't like about it it's its ram. it has a 1 gb ram that means really SLOWW....

but if you don't have your browser with 10 tabs, excel, word on all at the same time, then it's a good little machine..

I was hopping for a duo core core netbook finally they have. For a netbook point view right now i got a hannspree netbook that have 1.3 ghz duo core pretty powerful i have to say for a netbook. Yes their are N550 intel atom at clock 1.5 ghz duo core. For me i love the battery life for my netbook it has a good 6 hours. Some gose for 10-15 hours depending the how many cell they have.

@iNiCY33 I own both a Dell inspiron 1110ZminiHD that runs a Celeron instead of the Atom,(MUCH BETER)and a Compaq CQ62,Both run windows 7,both 250 gig HD, 2 gig Ram. The CQ62 runs Celeron at 2.2ghz, and the Dell runs at 1.3ghz,but the Dell is FASTER at basiclly all programs including Mp3 with SRS HD! Dell also BLOWS away the Compaq in sound. Not even close! If u want a "mini" size laptop wit BIG performance,Do ur self a favor and go for the Dell inspiron 1110Z!! NOT THE 1010! BIG DIFF!

Great video but just one question in normal use (web browsing and document transfer) how long will the battery last. Dell verbally say 1 to 1.5 hours but the literature says 9.5 hours (on standby - unwritten). So do you know what the actual/practical correct answer is ?

um im not POSITIVE but i think the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Netbook is different from the Dell Mini 10v, which is the one with the huge battery. u might wanna check
