The only problem with good music is that most people in this younger generation can't appreciate it so it will never become widely listened too. the only reason anybody should diskile zeppelin is because they have stole so much music on people and claimed them as their own. i still like them however but dont consider them that that important for the growth of rock music and originality (but they did have a lot of cool stuff they wrote.)

they weren't so heavy, they moved towards a more pop like sound. they were faster while the lyrics were somewhat heavy, the overall sound was more pop at the time. Sabbath was Heavy, especially in the beginning. around 78-80 they got a little pop sound to them but straight back to being heavy.
