I'm from Montreal too, and although I was in Peru while this noise was being heard, I heard a very strange noise as well, but around 11:30pm in ville Saint-Laurent (Montreal) I think it was around May. The sound was different though. It was a very high pitch steady tone, that would occasionally go higher, come back down, and stop to turn into a lower woop-woop-woop-woop and then right back to the tone. It was coming from the sky, but I couldn't see anything up there. The only time I heard it.

I heard a loud noise October 19, 2010 around 4:30 AM, it lasted around 5-10 minutes, my windows were closed and it woke me up. There's an airport (St.Hubert) near where I live and I thought it was a plane starting up it's propellers with a southern wind, I thought for sure it came from the airport. Could this have something to do with the earthquake that hit Montreal September 18th? Could this have something to do with the earthquake that hit Montreal September 18th? Seems these sounds are connected with earthquakes (and originating from the HAARP facility) The same sound was in Colorado just before a 5.5 quake took place (about 180 miles South of Denver) on August 23, 2011. If someone was trying to fake this, it would be quite difficult to get people all over the planet to cooperate. In some instances, entire communities have heard these sounds. So it appears as though something is definitely happening. Perhaps there is a very basic explanation for all of this. Perhaps there is not.
