you can use ZSS in the selection screen press the shield buton until the stage selection screen. You can change to samus to ZSS useing the pad in the gamecube controller up-down-up-down but really quickly

when using zero suit samus, and using down B, when u are just on top of the enemy, press B again, it does a meteor smash attack. Its very powerfull, but tricky at the same time, u have to calculate the exact distance between you and the enemy.

This attack is good when the enemy is not on the platform, and its trying to get to the platform edge. then u can use this attack, throw him down to the bottom, and still jump again or use up B to reach to the platform again. :)

Samus was a character I used sometimes, she was good but lacked that something to make her a great character. Zero suit samus is the best thing they could have done! She looks pretty cool with 2 recovery moves and that UP B! Power suit samus has been nerfed to compensate though.

Nice in-depth guide to samus and zamus. As a samus player, I could probably add a thing or two, like how getting an opponent caught in the forward-b zamus whip before he or she is dragged to the tip causes an additional 3 damage, but you covered pretty much all of it. I would also like to mention samus' z-air (her grapple), which is a better long-range air attack than missiles or beams in certain situations. It's decently long and is faster to execute and travel than the missiles.

The fact that he wasn't KO'ed that easy could be because Lucario has a pretty good air recovery. He floats quite a bit and has that nifty Extreme Speed number.

I've confirmed from several sources that the Dark Suit is not in Brawl...How did you get it!? That has to be the Dark Suit you're wearing, but I can only find the Phazon Suit in the lists.

No, it can't be. The phazon suit is jet black. He's wearing copper and silver, it's undoubtably the Dark suit unless that stage has some really really bad lighting. Also, it looks like the Zero Suit has white on the legs and arms, while the Phazon Zero Suit is jet black.

That suit is not from the Phazon Dark Samus, it resembles the color of the dark suit, from metroid prime 2 - echoes, the suit you need to take less damage while exposed to Dark Aether's atmosphere.

you can use Zamus's Down B instead of the usual edge hop,and even add the second B kick if properly timed. Plus, try to just drop from the edge and use her Down B just once (on final destination). She will wall jump and come back directly to the edge,like a better version of the normal wall jump. Not that useful bar in the ESS parts, but can add a little something for mindgames. Finally her up B can be used on ground for combos too(e.g UpB, UpB, Up A), and her Dsmash can be used 3 times in a row

Yes but, in brawl, it's much more noticeable AND blasting power is strongly affected too. It's very hard to kill someone with, say, forward smash if you've hit the opponent with it 5 times already.

When you die, all diminishing returns reset.

IMO they nerved too much in Brawl, no wavedash, no crouch-cancel/downsmash-counte­r, samus B-moves are weaker, samus neutral air is weaker and they put in diminishing+ which isn't so handy if you wanna double missile etc. I just hope Samus isn't to weak now but I haven't played the game so I can't really judge yet :(

I want old samus back!! In melee you could take out an opponent with the plasmaball at around 70% and the missiles you could kill an opponent by 120% and my signature attack have been nerfed (the Nair)

From what I've seen, there's no need for camera mode in Brawl because you get the normal screenshot taking features while paused in any VS. mode, and the other camera mode features can be used in replays (you can probably take screenshots from replays as well, otherwise there'd be no way to get screenshots froom WiFi Brawls).
