Was I the only person disappointed by Dangaioh's appearance in K? He seemed a bit weak in all regards compared to the other 3-4 pilot robots (to be fair, the best comparable was El Dora...and we all know how broken it is).

Nevermind it's complete lack of plot in the story. Which is why it was weaker than it should have been.

I disagree. I thought Mazinger Z was terrible in SRWK, that I wish it wasn't in the game, actually.

@adejobi1000 - Odd. It generally ended up being my second favourite tank, El Dora V and its stupidly strong El Dora Bloack withstanding.

The Dangaioh OVA again proves just how awful it was by needing the game's designers to invent an attack.

Seriously, give it a watch. It's really not very good at all.

I don't understand this finisher. What's the point of decombining if all they did is fly in the and recombine then doing the finisher? It feels like that decombining thing is more of a gimmick. Dancougar's version of this sort is so much better coz all of them attacks the enemy before recombining then doing the finisher.

maybe dangaioh isnt fast enough to move above the enemy he just knocked up into the air, so he splits to make it up there then recombine to do his finishing move

If I remember right, this move came from the last episode of the OVA. They were badly damaged and it was basically their all-or-nothing move. The recombination was something of a speed tactic.
