i've been wanting to see this movie since the trailer came out and i just never got a chance. I watched this last night for the first time, i was really touched by the whole movie but this scene blew me away. I cried because i was happy.

God, Marion definitely is a bitch! Even if Adam Goldberg's character's overreacting at times, I can undrestand his being pissed all the time... Marion speaks in a language he doesn't understand most of the time and never bothers to translate to him (which is incredibly impolite).

I think this is a great movie, by the way!

Well, Marion (Julie Delpy's character) states that there comes a time in life when she can't take any more breakups, that she finds even his flaws as something she now loves. I'm guessing this was that time in her life. So I guess I'm a bit of an optimist when it comes to the ending.

But in any case, I think Julie Delpy is just a genius for making the audience ponder this. Bravo! C'était un film magnifique!

I loved the ending n agree with Mayasee, everyone watching this movie in the end develops their own interpretation of its meaning. For some, it's just another angry couple, perhaps the end of it all and the dancing was a distant memory,but 4 me it was truly realizing that the one i have is worth every minute of everyday and knowing that each of us comes with something more than expected good or bad,and once u have come to accept all of this in the end nothing else will matter, love has privailed

thats the beauty of film. the directors writers actors can each have their own intention of what they want to portray to their viewers but know that it is going to be received differently based on the experiences of the person watching.

it's strange to go to see the film with a person that you're so into, and watch it all feeling so uncomfortable though whole movie and than see this ending that tells some truth about you and him, even if you're not yet together... I think there's not much relationships in which such conversation would ever exist, but it's what most of us want to say, and cry after all into each other arms... not always breaking it.
