just the same as everyone else im guessing by how they quickly cut the end, watch carefully, i think he just tears the cards straight through so that ppl can then inspect

No, Paul does not rip the cards straight through; he does hand out the cards for inspection. Buy the DVD and find out.

Its similar to handling by Michael Weber, which in turn LOOKS similar to a Wesley James handling published in his book Enchantments.
I dont know where Weber published his version, but do check W.S's, it ends with an awesome HyperCard-like souvenir.
