I agree, but I'm finding the transition a bit more difficult then I thought and I'm reading the book Your Money or Your Life right now. Did you follow the steps? Seems like you did, but I"m curious about your experience with it.
when i was a teenager i lived in my car/crashed with friends for about 3 1/2 years ~ at the time i felt pretty sorry for myself as i had one pair of jeans (full of holes!) and my friends all had tons of "stuff", cars, all that ~ anyway, i've since settled down, own a home, accumulated "things"~ but to tell you the truth i really miss the freedom i had back then to just leave at the drop of a hat and go wherever the wind blew me...posessions definately don't = contentment (quite to opposite!)
@Marcoosianism look again, they're not made from leather. In one sense that's bad, cuz the rubber insulates electro-magnetic us from our electro-magnetic source, Mama Earth. But at least those shoes put us at same level, not aloof or askew like most all other shoes
Right on brother. Is that 4hww on your shelf? Looks like we are on a similar path. I'm about to embark on a raw diet to kick my Crohn's. Keep up the great vids!
Absolutely right. I feel the same way. I try to minimize my possessions and take into consideration people in other parts of the world who have nothing and are purely all about survival. I think this kind of thing correlates with going raw - you clear junk out of your body and you clear junk out of your surroundings.
Great vid! I was wondering whether you were going to question the relevance of the bed.
The realization came to me when I started looking more on the yogic perspective on sleep and bedding. I sleep on a yoga mat on the floor and my bed serves as a place to put my boxes of fruit, lol!
"Because there's a philosophy which is widely considered to be true that says that the human foot is defective and we need to support it when we run." Haha. Cheers!

Great video. I have to agree with you on the vibram 5 fingers, especially for running. Once I switched to them...absolutely loved them.

Heh, just looked up the Vibram 5 fingers - pretty cool. Too bad they're made from leather :-(
