Always liked this ' forgotten ' version, remember it so well in March '67 as a much plugged turntable hit on Radio London's ' Fab Forty ' playlist. Remember exactly where I was, very Happy Memories, thanks very much for posting.
HI, I saw the attack back in the 60's.No idea what happened to them. I had a girlfriend called doreen who used to hang out at the ship in wardour street and the chase drinking club. we used to go to the marquee and middle earth to see the attack, the move, pink and spooky tooth. whatever happened to doreen, angela and the others? richard shirman was a nice guy. still like the music after 40 years and at 62 i still like original bands especially the smashing pumpkins!
first version what i heard is made by jeff beck, and I found it on CD with classick rock hits, and I loved it... but in this version especially ref. "hi ho silver..." u can feel it RIGHT

I've just heard this for the first time tonight on BBC Radio Northampton and I really like it. Much better than Jeff becks version. Thanks for posting it.
I always preferred this version, which preceded Jeff Beck's hit, and thought Gerry's clarinet was brilliant. It added more to the song than Jeff's guitar solo did, in my view.
I also love "Created By Clive", which The Syn covered.
my family and i dont know what happened to gerry henderson he seems to have dropped off the map last sighting was late 60's........you wouldnt happen to know where he is would you lol
