At last!! I've always wanted to know how the floating neck worked. For an unbiased review of how this construction performs, look for a Bass Player magazine review of the PBC 355 Headless bass in their July/August 1994 issue. Also, Dave's son founded Treker Guitars and he also uses the Floating neck construction. Bass Player reviewed a budget-minded Treker Prostar 4-string in the April 2003 issue.
