  • Thanks, Sherry - good to see you here! Aloha!

  • on this -12oF January morning in Canada -just the thing to watch- thanks Bing!

  • Wow - sending some relative warmth and sunshine your way!

  • Fantastic.. That was some good appalachawaiian music there :-) Santa claus left us a dulcimer, So I'm definately going to be checking back in with you for pointers. Keep up the good work!!

  • I love it when Santa does that - welcome to the family!

  • Lovely tune and a fun and interesting visual accompaniment. Very nice on all accounts.

  • Thank you, I appreciate that!

  • Four years ago, In May, I was at the Outer Banks, with my Father in law and his wife..... following the loss of my hubby in March. It was also only a month after picking up a mountain dulcimer.............. and I sat on the beach, learning to play "The Haven of Rest" with the gentle surf in the background.

Thank you for this gentle excursion into those memories............. !

  • E komo mai, you're so welcome!

  • ((Hugzz sis))

    who plays beautifully!

  • hi Sweetie! Life is nothing but good when we have Bing to listen to!! Merry Christmas to all! News, I'm trading in my McSpadden for a Gary Sager wormy maple..... beautiful sound and lovely woods.

  • Ditto about Bing, always cheers and inspires.

Noooo! I thought you where gonna sell me that McSpadden!

  • Do you want it?.... I'd be happy to wait til you come back to Columbus, really!

  • Nani!~(beautiful!) I was back stage with Bruddah IZ in Kauai at one of his big concerts, just before he passed away. And he knew dulcimer through me. I do know he would have loved to heard your version on dulcimer., of his song "White Sandy Beach of Hawaii" You play the melody line just to a tee. I recorded that some years ago with a Hammered Dulcimer and still they play that on the radio here in Hawaii. Enjoyed the video.....Aloha from the land of Aloha!!!

Terry Duggins and the Zither Band

  • Mahalo nui loa, Terry - what a sweet postcard from the islands! Thanks for the aloha, cousin - peace and aloha to you!

  • Very peaceful...Brudda Iz would be proud. This reminds me of our week on Grand Cayman back in May. I only regret that I did not take my dulcimer. However, I did play my dulcimer on the sand at Longboat Key last Summer. Nothin' mo betta...

  • Cayo Hueso, my home sweet home for over 20 yrs. Played on the streets there. Good acoustics in a tiny Cuban laundromat on White St. Hard to get a good sound on the beach. Miss the wind, salt and sweat. Can taste it as a memory on the back of my tongue. Must be calling me back. Denny and Steve Brown where r u? I will meet ya back at La Bodega to play...minus the Sangria and add Trish Cox for tin whistles

  • Some very cool imagery there - wish you had produced some video from those moments, but I see now that they play in your mind. Sweet!

  • We have temperatures in the mid 30's here in Buenos Aires these days. The envy will kill me!!!

Beautiful song, thank you very much !

  • Mid 30's? Wow. Hope this video brought a little warmth to you. : ) Thanks for watching!

  • Beautiful song. Beautiful beach. Beautiful video. Happy belated anniversary!

  • Thank you so much!

  • has the interruption beamed you right into paradise ??

looks like that (and surely is so, as long as no hurricane appears).

    Thank you, Bing !!

  • Paradise indeed, Ed! And I would NOT want to be there during a hurricane, that's for sure.

  • i take that for sure and guaranteed *lol

  • Congrats!

  • Thank you!

  • Super...I love the keys...love IZ vids on You Tube too, and am always happy to share the joy of others...Happy anniversary

  • Thank you very much!

  • Wow, I loved that transition to Key West. Beautifully done. My best of wishes to you and Jae's Anniversary. Peace Homie!

  • Thanks, neph!

  • YOU MAKE ME CRAZY !

The fore sight in your videography and editing atounds me.

    I grovel at your feet...

    You are the master !

  • Thanks, Ben. Hey - I'll tutor you in video production in exchange for some vocal guidance, bro!

  • HAPPY ANNIVERSARY loved the peaceful surroundings and the tune and your shorts (cool)

  • Thank you! Jae picked those shorts out for me - she has a matching blue pair. : ) It is lovely down here - we've got another day left before beginning the trip back north (with a stop in Key Largo)

  • Wow! So very beautiful!!!!

  • Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Happy Anniversary! Another cool video, Bing - we cracked up at your "surprise appearance" in the camp chair balanced on the rock.

  • Hi Ruth! Thanks for the well-wishes! The appearance was planned, the disappearance with falling chair was complete happenstance, but figured it might as well be used.
