I don't think anyone has pointed out the meaning the Chorus on here. "Hevenu shalom aleichem" means "We bring peace to you" and is a song sung at Seder. There was absolutely no intention to provoke a scandal just with that song. They knew how to make scandals if they wanted to, and they could have been more shocking. There was absolutely no intention to provoke a scandal just with that song. They knew how to make scandals if they wanted to, and they could have been more shocking. This song is just a way to use the Israeli folk as a basis to a renewed song, and a tribute to the excellent Jewish music. I find it creative and full of rythm.

they wanted to create a big riot from using this jewish folk song and singing with a cross on her chest etc but luckily we take things with humor, and dont go bombing embassies or threatening the life of mediocre rock stars.

Honestly, I think that the only way to enjoy Army Of Lovers' art is... stop thinking. I mean, you can't try to find the explanation for whatever that's the thing they're doing. Just listen the music, watch the videos, and laugh like you're having the devil inside your body.
