@Bondanalloy I haven't really done any videos that specifically cover past characters. I had planned on doing one for my highest level 1E character. I just hadn't gotten around to it yet.
@tetsubo57 Would be quite interesting- you have a lot of great ideas and a vast library of material which I assume you've drawn from over the years. Now that I've started posting vids, maybe I'll put out a word to the community to show off some oldies/favourites.
@tetsubo57 Have you seen " Witchunter: The Invisible World" From Paradigm Concepts"? Admiitedly it's closeer to a Clockpunk setting than a steampunk one, but it looks pretty good.
I think the best thing about Pathfinder is that it is easier to work with than 4th ed in many different ways. I'm running two games in the same world -- and I enjoy running pathfinder much, much more.
You just reminded me so much of a bud of mine, particularly in this vid :) Thanks for the vids BTW I am just getting back into RPGing and enjoy the commentary.
@Ragitsu I am diabetic. I avoid all forms of sugar if possible. So I use no sweeteners of any kind. I also limit my intake of carbs, salt, fat and take in no dairy.
@crazywolfe2020 No. This book contains all of the players & GM material though. You would still need the Pathfinder Bestiary. They have also released a Gamemastery Guide & Advanced Players Guide. Both of which are good. The latter being the best. I have reviewed both on my channel. The last just yesterday.
@crazywolfe2020 I think the Pathfinder is an excellent system. I highly recommend it. The SRD is available to look at on the Pathfinder site. I consider it a marked improvement of the D&D game.
after seeing this and gamegeeks review of this book i found an online SRD for the game and i really want to try this out. This looks like an awesome little update to 3.5 DnD. Thanks for the info about an RPG that I probably would have never known
i hate 4e. i gave it every chance to become better. I also really hated some of the 3.5 classes and feats. Way to powerful. Maybe i will give pathfinder a chance
I bought some Pathfinder books and I like everything I see so far. Thank you for the review. I haven't been a DM for Pathfinder yet. However, I am a Player in one group and even though our group is smaller, 4 of us counting the DM, it has been really fun. I hope you continue doing reviews on Pathfinder products as I have been watching them all. Thanks!

You didnt mention the half elf and how they are awesome. I have played in like 4 different pathfinder games so far and there has been a halfelf in every game. The first game had 2 in it the most I have ever seen in a game ever.
How do you think Humans Such. they get their bonus feat, any favored class still AND an additional +2 to any stat.
And fighter's became the god's they were supposed to be bonueses to weapon types and armor types allowing you to finally have a dex fighter that can wear the heavier armor, not to mention the fact that they get DR 5/- by the end of it
I finally got around to doing something with the Pathfinder books. I started going through and translating some homebrewed races to the setting. I'll be posting up a vid about how to make "balanced" Pathfinder races.
I know that I am in the minority. But I like Fighters. I think that PHB II 'fixed' the issues with the core 3.5 rules. I don't have an issue with what PF does with Fighters.
I'm not really in camp "They aren't as good as spellcasters, WAH!", I'm in camp "Why aren't they better fighters than Paladins and Rangers?"
Niche protection is my problem.
Whether you care about balance or don't care about balance, I just think it makes more sense that the class predisposed solely toward fighting be the best fighters.
Excellent review. And it has very much interested me in buying the book. I just bought Geist, so I'm reading that for now, but Pathfinder will be next.
Yes, I cannot also wait for the Bestiary. I do have a homebrew Monster Book, but it is... you know... "flying paper sheets" and I will see if I could get the Bestiary for Christmas or something, the same day I will get the PF book (the material one, I have a pdf version)
It's been a good few months for gaming books. PF and the monster book soon. Plus I got a pile of used stuff this month. Amazon has also had a number of uber-cheap books. Gaming books, my one addiction.
Oh, I'm flattered. Bulgarians typically don't play RPGs and I am one of the few Bulgarians that play RPGs. But, things might change in 2012 for us, because the euro fonds are coming and it will be even more cheaper for me to buy books from the french amazon (because of the prices in euro)
Have you made a video about past characters or your first character? I've been scanning your library..

For clarity's sake: you don't *add* sugar, or you don't eat ANYTHING with sugar?

Things I liked about Pathfinder:
1-more options.
2-consolidated the combat maneuvers modify.
3-some neat ieas.
Things I disliked about Pathfinder:
1-Nerfing magic. Finger of Death doesn't kill...
2-Keeping useless feats and endless feat trees.
3-Castrating magic using classes looking for an unnecessary balance.

I notice you didn't mention Fighters...
I'm guessing it's because they suck even worse now.
Humans, compared to the other races, also suck.
Suddenly, I feel like I'm playing AD&D2E all over again :-D
But I agree with your good points, just a little annoyed that the standard has become the sub-standard.

The review was very good, I thought absolutely the same about the book, good job with the review. Pathfinder is the best RPG for the 21st century.

Thanks.
I've heard good things about Savage Worlds. I plan on picking up a copy when possible. The number of settings for the core rules is impressive.
But PF does look awesome. :)
