  • very interesting thanks

  • to people who say that genesis doesn't prove that God does actually exist, well what don't you answer my question, using your brains the right way, and forgetting about any stereotypes or prejudices :"who created the chromosomes that you just saw at the video?" and don't say it came by chance or it's nature that created it, because nature itself didn't exist by coinsidene

  • @inassam Hello there, ignorant person.

I'll give you a short quote just to give you an idea of how wrong you are.

"However statistically improbable the entity you seek to explain by invoking a designer, the designer himself has got to be at least as improbable."

    -Richard Dawkins

Basically, the chance of life being created by coincidence is greater than the chance of a god, capable of creating life, being created by coincidence.

  • good luck on cell molecule my young UM cell molec people

  • quit masturbating to my cells

  • OMG this is better than porn.

  • I´m writing this with my left hand, the right hand is ...

well i prefer don´t say nothing about my right hand and what is she doing.

  • Im masturbating with this. OH

  • ~nothing hurts science worse than the people who treat it like a religion~

Paused at 0:27, I would have guessed that the metephase plate was perpendicular to the line drawn in the video. The chromosomes look like they are lined up that way, but then they split apart along the line as illustrated. What should I look for in a dead, stained cell that would help me better identify the plate?

  • thats wat ur mom said ^^^^^^^^^^

  • cell

  • Cool

  • amazing what God can do!! Honestly chemicals that code genitic info and give orders??. that is not by chance. no form of a chemical (such as the Nitrogenous bases that make up dna) should be able to do what it does. every cell has a function and automactlly knows what it's job is. even tho science know what the componets of life are it can not be recreated in a lab because only God creates Life.

  • @bigpimp60 No, life creates life. Wanna know how? watch the video.

  • @warriors41 God said be fruitful and mulitply. He disigned life to do just that.I believe what i belive and you can believe what you want. This video does nothing but prove my point. since you think life creates life go out and create life out of nothing. Im willing to bet everything i own that it can't be done. Go ahead Go create something.

  • @bigpimp60 Where did this idea come from that you can create from nothing? as far as I know "nothing" doesn't even exist. and yes I can create something. anything my mind and body can manage to create. You don't need "god" to explain any of this. It explains itself, no middleman required.

  • @warriors41 nothing does exist, everything has an origin, a beginning and an end. Bible teaches God speaks everything into existence therefore creates something out of nothing. Science states the same everything has an absolute beginning. God is not a middle man he is the carpenter and architect of the universe. Science falls short of explaining why or how things exist. Science is good for teaching how things work but not to good on teaching how things got here.

  • @bigpimp60 haha, you're so close! Hey here's my idea. It's not exactly that God doesn't exist... it's just the way you think of god, (i'm guessing the christian god, but it doesn't matter), God is actually more advanced and more loving and more pure than that. God is not more than you imagine. God is more than you CAN imagine. So I wouldn't believe anyone who believes that they know god, because she is higher than anyone on earth can normally imagine.

  • @warriors41 u don't know my perception of God. I know who he is and what he does. I don't put a limit on God because he can't be measured. Being a Christian doesn't mean I put him in a box. It does mean that I believe the creation story as it is recorded in genesis.

  • @bigpimp60 Your god is a humanoid, God is more evolved than that...

  • @warriors41 I don't believe life is an accident or by chance. When science creates life in a lab the way they said life came into existence then I might give a second thought on my beliefs but until now has proved nothing. It only tells what something is and how it functions, not where it came from

  • @Hayabussa729 i do. its intresting to see how our body actually works

  • does replication start right afterwards?

  • @1ThatZmE1 Replication? You mean DNA replication in the chromosomes? That's actually done before mitosis. Its interphase I believe so. When the cell gets bigger and then lines up the duplicated chromosomes for metaphase.

  • @daveheadugly

thank you for answering! so there's a double number of chromosomes in the parent cell which are divided in chromatids whilst mitosis and are later combined to chromosomes in the daughter cells again? (since after dna replication there has to be a sister chromatid to each chromatid in both daughter cells)

  • just imagine how many universes died and were big banged back together before evolution figured that out!

  • Wow that was interesting

  • Human lung cell? Cow lung cell? Which species?

I would like to see how far division would get if you isolated that cell in a sterile petri dish before the cell dies due to starvation. I want to understand the total energy required by this one cell to do this work of mitosis.

  • @mphello thought mitosis only occurs in sex cells if your talking about body cells such as organs wouldn't that be meiosis?

  • @HeyZues09 Seriously: I forget. Funny - I thought it was meiosis only in sex cells, and mitosis is generalized non-gamete cell division.

  • @HeyZues09 ur right man, i had it backwards... meiosis is gamete cells mitosis is somatic cells..

  • @HeyZues09 nope you had it right when you corrected him, he got it wrong there

  • @HeyZues09 nope - meiosis: sex cells, gametes.

    mitosis: somatic / body cells

  • wait she sounds like MB from metroid other m

  • mitosis pwns noobs.

  • @Ravenclawwww I agree...

  • lady gaga is waaaaaaaaay better!

  • wow, awesome, thinking that is how it really looks make it so awesome, better than when the teacher explains XD

  • en ingles -.-

  • Freaking incredible footage. Imagine it in even another 5 years... crystal clear HD

  • beautiful. Just beautiful.

  • Why, it's ALL so SIMPLE!!! :)

  • It's freaky, they are in all your meals you eat, everything you touch.... ew...

  • @lyue1996 How the hell is it freaky ?

Okay, so they look like microscopic worms.

But without them, you wouldn't exist.

    ^_^

  • @RuthIsDinosaur I know.. but thinking about it is freaky..

  • loved it !!!

  • it really help. although this is just the basic of plant cell but it is interesting to wath the animation as we only study with words seen by eyes which i am supposed we have to use the eyes to read but this video make me a sudden interest to study more about plant cell

  • great really

  • That's kinky.

  • oh ok

  • so observing the division of the chromosomes, my question would be, where does the daughter cell get the rest of the missing chromosomes that it didn't procure?

some of the chromosomes get sent into the other cell while the others get sent to one cell doesn't make quite sense because where will the missing chromosomes come from then?

  • in the mother cell, the chromosomes are replicated in S-phase. from one chromosome, one other is created by the replication process. and one then goes to each cell during the actual M-phase (mitosis)

  • Thanks for clearing that one up man, : )

  • dre is a diff between MEIOSIS and MITOSIS

here v r tokin abr MITOSIS in which de cell divides such dat all de homologous chromosomes divide n dre is no CROSSING OVER takin place as it take place in MEIOSIS in crossing over de a homologous chromosomes will transfer sum of its DNA into another homologous chromosome n will get de same amount frm de same chromosome

so dre is no ques of MISSING chromosomes here

WELL MY CHARACTER COUNT IS LESS

  • they are created

  • do you know a film in german? i need an answer please

  • The Birth of a Nation

  • is this really what you see under a microscope or is this just an animation?

  • Any idea what the magnification is on this video?

    Thanks

  • that was pretty interesting

  • Awesome FTW

  • AH interesting. BUT i do noT UnDErStAnD The Fourth stage of this chromosome cyclone is diversed in Honorificabilitudinitatibus. Chow tap back old chap

  • Good vid! I'm impressed

  • Those long pieces were the cromosomes ?..that was inside the core of the cell ?..how many cromosomes do we have ?

  • we have about 64 chromosomes in every cell.

  • 46 chromosomes (23 pairs) in a normal cell.

  • lol yeh, that's what i meant and didnt realize thats what i said till i turned my computer off lol

  • ancient people have 32 chromosomes

future human will have 128 chromosomes.

    It is Moore's Law)))

  • Tobacco has 48 chromosomes, so do the great apes (we have 46) some vegetables have over 300 chromosomes, Moore's Law? what is this?

  • 44 chromosomes + 2 sex chromosoms (XX or XY)

i.e. together they are 46 in the normal somatic cells.

    23 in gametic cells ( = 22 + only one sex chromosome that is either X or Y )

  • thank you very much !

  • Excelent video ... amziiing xD

  • Very good video and explanation thx

  • This 40 sec video explained more than my two last biology lessons

  • :) this totally helped me study for bio.

thanks so much for posting this!

    i REALLY appreciate it!!

    evolution,,,,,or God

    Remember the forgotten god

science means god and god means science

  • Now this is what i call " COOL !!! "

  • Wow.

  • I want to see my blood cells under a microscope and see if I got any midichlorians :)

  • its mitochondria dood

  • dude i know what mitochondria is. midichlorian is something else. its a thing from Star Wars.

  • come on dudes just relax and be cool dude. Dude seriously, dude. Dman dude

  • wtf? i'm cool thx

  • I like this very much!!!

I´m from Brazilian and I like biology!!!

    THANK YOU!!!

  • your mom likes biology.

  • it's amazing that religious people can't accept something like this to be product of nature(evolution) and then when it come to their GOD their logic ends! if you can not accept this without a creator how can you accept god without a creator???? GOD is not the answer. it's only escaping the question.

  • What I don't get is why people insist that science and God are mutually exclusive truths. Where in the bible does it say that science is wrong? And in which science book do they disprove the existence of God. The argument is pointless because you can't prove it scientifically.

  • Better yet, if you can explain to me the boundary between thought and the physical/ chemical molecular structure of the brain that created that thought, then...

there you will find the creator.

    Ciao

    Amazing DNA, btw

  • Why can we admit this is the creation of God.

  • nobody can admit it is and nobody can say is isnt maybe in the future people can know

  • we already know the answers it is peoples chois what to belieave, science or religion

  • it's amazing that religious people can't accept something like this to be product of nature(evolution) and then when it come to their GOD their logic ends! if you can not accept this without a creator how can you accept god without a creator???? • wowowowowowow!!

  • looks better than the simple fotonic microscope..

  • Thank u!

  • awsome thank you

  • you better use a 200x slow camera for this to see it good.

  • Beautiful. Totally independent actions that form us. Its another universe in there, with its own properties and laws. Simply amazing.

  • lol god dosnt tells every cell what to do, we would drive crazy =P(to much work) its all in your dna every cell knows extacly what to do whit it, so if you have messed up dna (radiation,etc..) youll end whit a disease or probably die.

there are hormons too, to regulate the proces for a couple of cells also

  • you make me laugh...God? Try information encoded in your DNA and then we'll talk....

  • All of this complexity could easily be a result of the way we percieve things. The way our consciousness is built. Every extremely complex situation is a likelihood of one in a bazillion.. but one of those bazillion has to exist. Things become complex.. that's nature

  • I know what is a cell and how it devides. The question now is who makes it happen in an orderly manner. Who makes our hair on the head grow continuously and the eyebrow hair stop growing at a limited length. This pheominon itself is enough to realize the power of the creator of the universe.

  • @DF8241971 ever heard of DNA?

  • What is the probablity of this process happening by chance without a supernatural power (Allah or God). May be, one in a bazillion? If anyone actually thinks this can happen by itself that means they dont know nothing about probablity and ahve to go back to grade 5.

  • Obivously you are an uneducated person who knows nothing about your own body which is made up of CELLS that grow and divide. You could take a piece of your own skin, an organ or any other piece of your body, put it under a microscope and see your cells do the exact same thing that these cells do. NOW RETURN TO 5TH GRADE AND LEARN SOMETHING!!!

  • How do U know?

  • I know because I have seen it done in a lab setting.

  • @agbiotech this is correct they are making diff organs

  • @agbiotech hey numbnuts skin cells are dead....

  • @DF8241971

This is the dumbest reasoning for a higher power I have ever read.
