Thanks for helping me fix this---I was about to destroy something in my room. I only have one final question that I can't seem to answer. Do you know of a way I could save views and recall them without using the alt-button---alt +shift+# makes FS9 minimize which is extremely irritating....Thanks again man :)
You wouldn't happen to know how to fix my problem, right? When I go into "Follow" mode, and I move the camera to a spot for a wing view, if I am anywhere above 50 FT AGL part of the wing disappears. This only happens if I am too close to it. Like, it'll happen if I have the camera where a seat just over the wing but not if I have it where a seat is way far behind the wing.

hey so the solution is "Go to x:\Program (x meaing your drive it is installed on) Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\DBS
then open that and go to DBS.walk and follow
ignorePOV=0
Change to
1
so then it would be
ignorePOV=1
then save.
It should work then." i have the same problem, but only when i connect the joystick. i will try and i post something after.

and find the file DBS.WalkAndFollow.ini.
Open it in notepad and find the line
IgnorePOV=0
Set it it to 1, in essence
IgnorePOV=1

there are 3 files with that same name and when I open any of them with notepad I can't find the ignorepov. just some codes. thank you!

ye i kinda have same problem but mine keeps rotateing around but i might be able to help you
go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\DBS
then open that and go to DBS.walk and follow
ignorePOV=1
Change to
0
so then it would be
ignorePOV=0
then save

Set ignore POV 1 and it will work fine. and some additional help
save views by double tapping " / " and same goes for " * " key. Use ur Left 1 mouse when using external views to look around.

Yes I installed the demo and got this annoying and headache causing problem too. I would forget about it and get Active camera instead. much better
