Looks delicious! I soak the pork shoulder in apple juice and onions for at least 24 hours before cooking to give it more flavor. Sprinkle on my own dry rub made from nearly every spice and herb I have. Then I use a Cookshack electric smoker oven for 17 hours with apple wood for the smoking. After pulling it apart I mix it with my BBQ Sauce for Amateurs and voila! -- the best pulled pork sandwich in Silicon Valley! Hope you'll take a look. Thanks for a great video!
This was AMAZING! I did add the garlic and it really made the house smell wonderful. I cooked it about an hour and 15 min and it was a little dry but i drizziled a tad of the oil / fat drippings over it and it made all the difference. Thanks Jay!
Great video. I would have ran, not walked to get that missing clove of garlic! Can't beat that seasoning. Have you ever thought about adding a half of a bay leaf just to give it that Yo Mama old time taste? Thanks!- Bob.
Could it be?! 2009 and a new video from Dave?! SUH-WEET!! Love your stuff Dave! I watch to compare notes, learn, and get refreshed on many recipes! Bachelors got to know how to cook, right?! :P
Now come on Dave, you know better than to lie to us and tell us that that large bottle of Italian Seasoning will last you for one year... if you cook for your self what you show us for even only 5 videos... that seasoning will be gone in about a month. Hahahaha. Now I am assuming you didn't use any pork tenderloin already seasoned correct? I know in the stores they have them premarinated. What are your thoughts on premarinated?
Hey Dave, love the videos. Hey have you tried searing the outside, kinda like what you do with a chuck roast? i cooked my pork loin like you did, but i was just wondering if it would work. Thanks, Rob
Man I just came across your videos and LOVE them. You REALLY know how to cook some REAL meals! I LOVE to cook. I mean I'm a person who cooks real meals for the family every day. I love your meals. They give a different way to cook meal that I cool all the time. Your look so good! And you are correct, Cast Iron skillets are the best for cooking because it distributes the heat evenly. Keep doing what you do because we love it!
hey you disabled the comments on the fried chicken video. i just wanted to let you know your freid chicken was a hit with everyone. i ate 13 peices yesterday. killer shit man keep up with the cooking videos ill always be watching

how long do i cook it for @ 325? he never specified!
moondejected 1 year ago
I cook it until it is done. Watch how I check to see if it is done. Every DO is different. It takes about 1 hour depending on the size of your roast.
jaybobed 1 year ago
@moondejected
Took him about an hour and a half at 325 in the oven. Says right at 5:07.

We don't have italian seasoning down here.......what we do have is spaguetti seasoning. Will that work just as well?
viperam57 3 years ago

Dave

"The onion will take carrot." O, that's just too funny! Since there's no garlic, of course...
