@80sOGRE Cyberpunk was more or less 80's to early 90's, but there was plenty of dystopian scifi back in the 70's.

@SMS2RR Well for artists with a Cyberpunk-ish sound I'd say Flying Lotus, Aphex Twin, Burial, Massive Attack, DJ Shadow, Salem, Tycho (I wouldn't exactly define his as cyberpunk, but it is a pretty futuristic sound), Holy Other, Deltron 3030, Gorillaz and Evanescence . Well those are artists that remind me of cyberpunk anyway, I've always imagined cyberpunk music having alot of hip hop/electronic music influence .

have you seen COM TRUISE's 'BROKEN DATE ' video , AMAZING,old school cyber punk.

@SMS2RR Yeah Broken Date was amazing, I'm not that into Truise but that video was awesome . And I always thought of Gorillaz first self titled album and the dub remix of that album to suit Cyberpunk better, Plastic Beach does it pretty good too though .

An album that definitely screams cyberpunk is Linkin Park's Reanimation (which is like my favorite album of all time :D).
