  • Perfectomondu man I wish I could play like this :D

  • how*

  • Did the filtertron pickup fit in the old pickup hole where the mini humbucker used to be? And is the sound compared to the mini humbucker?

  • @math101a You have to do some modifications to put the filtertron in the holes, but you dont have to remove wood. Googel for "Filtertron English Mount" there you can see the modification. The sound has in my opinion more treble and you can separate the higher notes more easily ... it just sound more like acdc :D

  • @acdcinextremo321 Saiten bekommt man im Musikladen ;) Oder was meinst du jetz?!

  • @acdcinextremo321 Besser als was?

  • @snookerkingexe, nice sound, where did you buy the filtertron?

  • @TheRhythmaniac Bought it via ebay ;)

  • @snookerkingexe, where did you get the tabs for this song?

  • @Electry257 I just listened to the original recording ;) AC/DC often use open chords and do some hammering stuff in the open chords to let it sound cool ;) If you know one song, you know all xD

Was muss man beim Einbau der Filtertron beachten?

    Danke vorab

  • Spot on playing, really great and amazing sound! I wonder if it is possible to put filtertron pickup in a les paul guitar?

  • Hi Felix - cool sound, where did you get the Gretsch pick-up? Regards Jonas

  • @JonasSweden1 Thank you! I buyed it on ebay! only 50 Euro with shipping from the united states! =)

  • Hi Snook,

    Greets! =)

  • Wie immer ein Klasse video

Das Schalplattencover hat style ich hab in meinem zimmer die Schalplattencover von Flick of the switch, highway to hell, diry deeds done dirt cheap und let there be rock hängen

  • @I974Jailbreak Jawoll! So muss das sein! =) Meine Plattensammlung hängt an der anderen Wand ;) u.A. Hendrix, Zeppelin, The Answer, Doors, Pink Floyd, Motörhead und alles was man so brauch =) Platten haben einfach Stil! ^^

  • Great tone, well played Felix.

  • You've really got Malcolm's cleaner tone nailed, but can you get the really sort of sparkly havier sound he sometimes has, if you listen to walk all over you that's the kind of sound I mean.

  • @hardrockerdave94 Yup, I know what you mean. And in my opinion the only chance to achieve this sound is a cranked TUbe-Amp ;) These little differences makes them such popular =) Plexi-Amps rules! xD

  • love the gretch:D but i think its a bit to thin, only a bit, but you got the malcolm looks and skills:D greets from country neightbour, The Netherlands:)

    Bram

  • @bramnokia Jup, I know what you mean =) I'll try some little changes on the EQ or Volume and GGain-Settings and lets see what I get^^

    Greetings and Thank you!

  • @snookerkingexe haha alright, show that ur a real guitarist:) a smartass would say i was wrong and that i should shut my mouth, ur awsome dude:D i want to cover a cover of the new ac/dc album black ice soon to, but my laptop broke, so the 'fans' should wait lol :)

    Bram

  • Awesome man! Rock on! Dice

  • One word...Epic! I really love your playing man!

  • @addy93 Thank you very much =)

  • awesome job man! bigg difference in sound with the new pickup, doesnt sound muddy anymore!

  • @SGdude93 Thank you dude! Yesterday I could check it in the Band rehearsal and how it sounds with the band: Just WWOOWW!!! This flashes my brain away! Totally awesome!

  • Ooooh, my friend. Pure power ! Grrrreat ! In a few months I'll call you for a youtube cover. I'll be more than happy if you'll join me. I keep practice on and on 'till that day . You rock, my friend !

  • Very nice! I have the Gretsch MY sig, one pu version. It screams ! You're does to, did you used you're 18W plexi clone? I've recently ordered the ceriatone 18W TMB EF86 kit. Waiting for it now, hopefully I'm getting some decent AC/DC tunes out of it.

    Greetings from Belgium

  • @Driesp62 Yeah Dude! A MYI and a 18 Watt Plexi-Clone Sounds like a damn great combination! =)

As this video wa just a quick recorded one, I used the Line Out of my little 15 Watt Hybrid-Vox. I was amazed about the tone o.0

  • @snookerkingexe Is it a Valvetronix? I have a VT30. But the line out sounds like crap, what settings do you use?

  • @Driesp62 I used an old Vox AD15VT, Settings:

    Amp: AC30TB

    Gain: 10 o'clock

    Volume: 3 o'clock

    Treble: 2 o'clock

    Middle: 4 o'clock

    Bass: 1-2 o'clock

    Effekts: just a little Reverb

    Master: 8-9 o'clock

    Greetings!

  • @snookerkingexe It's pretty good, but still such an electronic sound ;) I don't like that!

I'm looking so forward to test the Gretsch on the plexi. Does it actually sound like a plexi a bit, because I didn't played on one yet.

  • @Driesp62 18W TMB definetly sounds like a plexi! =) I think you'll not regret it! Yesterday I tested mine on full power and on 3/10with the Band (Thats my sound!^^) Absolutly great combination =)

  • what is the most funnest song to play by AC/DC?

  • @bbeard396 for me its "Shot Down In Flames" and "Shoot To Thrill" I totally love these two =)

  • Whoah nice! I LOVE your hair ! xD

  • @horsecoollover19 muha xD thank you xD looks a bit dirty due the hot temperatures these days^^ I feel like I could take a shower every hour xD
