This is freaking crazy. A big thumbs up from me. Great release and rotation from the second jumper. A stunt like this deserves cameras recording the event from several angles.
You've got so many incredible videos using PPGs in so many radical ways! I only wish there were a way to undo the distortion caused by the wide-angle lens. Your Timp video would be even more epic shot with a regluar lens.
I think this is technically a skydive. Right? No Bridge Antenna Span or Earth being jumped off of here. And the a paraglider is an aircraft, obviously. But I digress... total awesomeness either way!! I want one of these SOOOOOOO BAD! AH! I'm hooked. Love your vids! Is there a video from the ground of this stunt? I'd love to see that angle!

I had not seen! very good idea to load serving of the paratroopers. It is matter of economics. But never try this idea if they are not professionals! Take care. ;)
@jtmarlen Yea my video pilot was off. It sure would have been slick to have him shooting video up close of everything happening. Oh well. Next time:).
@MrMrtiki Yes no question this could have plucked people off the top and brought them to safety. I could have also delivered a bunch of base jump rigs.
@imasuper0308 Wow maybe tell the local police that you have this capability to do this if someone needs attention way up in the rocks you can lift a medivac person up there or down you would be on global news dude .
@MrMrtiki Actually I just did that 3 days ago. 2 hikers were stuck up on the mountain so I delivered them food, water, warm clothing and repelling gear so they could get down. I had to do the flight at night and in a snow storm. It is quite amazing what you can do with these units.

@WEOWNTHESKIES No you definitely don't want a bungee or it could fling up into the prop when they release. We use spectra strapping so there is very little stretch or snap to it when they release.
@1Literofadrenalin It is a pretty standard cut away system. Yes this is the funnest sport ever IF you get WPPGA certified equipment and training. It also isn't seasonal so unlike sleds you can use your rig all year long. Very very cool. Flying in the snow is a total blast, just watch some of my other videos.

Killer job! When I saw the ones of you hauling gear for base jumping I was wondering why they didn't do just whats happening here. By the way LOVE the parts played backwards! One of these days I will be getting a rig & hopefully sooner then later. I loved flying the six-shooter & always wanted a backpack rig.
