This opportunity was earned and did not cost anything. Some places will have flight training or "Young Eagle" opportunities. Checking in with the smaller airports nearby would be a great place to start.
im taking lessons on my six this saturday i do radios and stuff do all the taxing and stuff and the takeoff also the perflights. That money is worth it if you have a passion for flying

Awesome! I love videos like the first flights. There is no greater joy than when you can share something unique such as flying to kids. By all means if Young Eagles have a local chapter, join up.
my lessons cost about 200$ a month which also includes free ground school. your first flight honestly is a little nerve wrecking. the instructor can fix any mistakes you make. if you want to see what it is like i would suggest getting flight simulator. it gives you a full aspect about flying.
I'm his mother and was able to go up with him. It was really thrilling. Wouldn't be if you're afraid of heights. He was in a program called Wright Flight that selected a handful of area school kids who were interested in earning the opportunity by doing well in school. He had to take classes on the history of flight and pass a test, but there were no lessons or fees. We're going to look into joining the local Young Eagles (and I don't know what that costs yet.
Do you have to pass a test before they will teach you how fly?

If you want to fly - Go to a flight school at your local airport. It will cost roughly $150.00 per lesson.
To find a flight school: 1, google flight school in your area. 2, call your closest municipal airport and ask for schools.
You can take lessons at any age! but, need to be 16 to fly solo and 17 to get you certificate/license

Oh yeah, on average it will take 60 hours to complete your instructions... so, $150.00 * 60 = $9,000.00

If you have a small local airport in your area, I would look there first. Some have flight training programs. Good luck and please keep your dream.
