I ordered from CyberPower and I can't wait for the PC except after I ordered I realized that I left out an external thermal display by accident and am beginning to re-think the case :/
If you are doing Insane overclocks you should be cooling every component equally or whats the point, if a transistor fails on a mother board or graphics card, the whole board is shit, good luck diagnosing what burned up... LC has more moving parts hose fittings etc, and thus more probability of one of these components failing. On the other hand, hanging giant copper heat sinks way off your cpu is not exactly the best thing for your board either. Meh whatever as long as it plays right?
ok no one pointed it out but damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn that guy is black as hell i thought he was wearing a helmet.
I used to use CyberPower religiously, but the last computer I got from them was a lemon, and from the build quality you could easily see that it wasn't due to shipping. I probably would've given them another chance if not for the horror stories that surround this company. So, I got a refund, and began the search for another company. I did find a great alternative. Their prices are comparable to CyberPower's and their quality is great. If you're looking for a great PC check out Ironside Computers
I am wondering is that fan good? because all the cases i try to chooses have liquid cooling as default and i dont really know how to maintain that,so please reply?
@ptbird1 Liquid cooling is effective, but it is more components involved and liquids that MAY OR MAY NOT be conductive, which as you know if its water could short out everything it touches. Most liquid cooling involves a PUMP and FAN, if either of these fail liquid cooling is near useless. Air coolers the FAN is the only thing that can fail and you can see if it does. Unless u EXTREME overclock, high end heat sinks are WAAY more than enough. Plus if u EXTREME overclock, better LC the GPU TOO...
Don't buy from Cyberpower they consistently gets bad reviews for all the broken computers they ship out. If you don't believe me type in Cyberpower reviews in google, and go through it. Try Ironsidecomputers(dot)com instead. Those guys consistently do a great job.
i have to admit, i bought a cyberpower pc around 3 years ago and its still kicking. it was actually cheaper on the site, then buying the separate parts from the egg. only complaint is the way the cables are wired. but thats an easy fix..
@CarcinogenicRaccoon Hmm... I'm thinking about getting it from these guys rather than building it from newegg. How are the cables wired? Is there good airflow right out of the box, or will I have to rewire shit? What's your avg temps under load? Do you recommend it? Thanks that would really help me out. =)
@HabeKeinMitleid airflow seemed fine, i just hate seeing cables from the window so i rerouted them to behind the motherboard tray the way they are supposed to be. i had gotten a q6600 with a 4870 and the temps were around 42-45c full load for the cpu. after receiving it i had added an aftermarket cooler which brought the temps down to around 35c and overclocked to 3.0ghz they were back around 45c full load. ambient temperature was 21c
Just an update i bought the computer about 7 months ago still kicking now i have a amd athlon x4 630 and just upgraded my video card from Ati hd4650 to a hd5830 and wow this cyberpowerpc is kick butt and it doesn't get hotter than 30 degrees Celsius and i had a little problem with the card readers that came with it but they sent me a box and sent it back to them and they fixed it and upgraded my powersupply for free how awesome is this company!!!!!!! Don't believe people if they say it sucks
hey im thinking of buying a cyberpower pc, from an website amazon you probably know the website, do you know if i buy a cyberpower pc from there if it comes assembled or not? :) reply back please
@DillsGames how and if u mean illegaly i tried using a key gen all the tutorials are like 1 year old and no longer work idk but i mean i say it for 1,000 dollars i could get thepc i want for that price
Why do people not just build their own desktops? The only computer things I buy from places like this are laptops and even then I prefer digitalstormonline
i built mine online because im not entirely sure how to put one together yet, i could probably work it out. but i also dident want to take the risk of messing it up. does that answer your question? :)
im going to get a cyberpower pc from wal mart, so i just wanna know for $848, is 750 gig hard drive, nvidia gt 240 1 gig , 4 gig of ram, 600 watt psu, and intel i5 dual running at 3.33 ghz any good.
i would recommend building one yourself. youll be able to find better deals on the parts and you get to choose which ever parts you want at that price. does $848 include monitor and peripherals?
A heads up to anyone planning on buying from CyberPowerPC. I got a laptop and I'm still using it today.
I ordered from them maybe a year ago, spent well over $800+ on this baby, and it still works great.
Even more-so, when I chose the processor i wanted they ran out of them or something like that so they set me up with an even better one free of charge.
lol, people talking about how great this company is. They use stock cases, stock components, stock preheriples and stock boxes and you guys are like AWW YEAH CYBERPOWER YEAHH AWW IT WORKS SO WELL!..
Its not Cyberpower, its just the components that you paid 50% above market price for. From what I've seen tehse arn't even well built, you can see all the cables are just wrapped up together in a huge knot.
hey i just got my cyberpower pc! Did you get the windows software with your computer? i have win 7 and got no software or any manuals to go with it???
I've had my CyberPower for over a year and a half now. Absolutely love it. Only had a couple loose wires from shipping other than that no problems whatsoever. Looked up the same computer on Alienware at almost twice the cost!
I wouldn't worry about it, in fact I custom ordered a laptop for my father just a few weeks ago, came in on time and every worked just fine. I was very pleased with them, if your a computer novice i wouldn't recommend them, its more for power users since they don't send directions with the system.
@natefacehahn yeah but i want to hear reviews from people who have had it for a long time, atleast a year to see if it is actually good. Most of the bad reviews I hear are from people who bought crappy setups from them.
@natefacehahn I'm just worried to have my desktop die out or something bad like not starting up, or faulty parts. I hear that a lot about Cyberpower. And they don't pay for shipping back so you lose about over $100....Am I going to be screwed like some of the others?
To tell you the truth Mr. Lhasa, Cyberpower is no different from any other computer manufacturer, I've heard just as many complaints about Dell, HP, and Sony as i have Cyberpower, 99 times out of 100 you'd be just fine
@natefacehahn Thanks, makes me feel a little better about the order i'm waiting to receive. Is it just me or did I hear cyberpower gets the cheap or crappy parts instead of the parts you paid for new. Have you bought from them? experience? Thanks
I just ordered mine today, I have an i7 860 with 4 gigs of RAM and two Radeon HD 5770's in crossfire, how long does it take for them to build a computer?
Or you could save yourself a lot of money and not buy from cyber power. they are so expensive. just go to your local pc shop and ask you to build you a gaming rig
I called and waited on hold for 30 minutes only to find out that I wouldn't be able to get an rma to return it for 48 hours and I would have to pay shipping.
The RMA never came so I called back all day for two days. Finally I decided to wait it out on speaker phone with two lines called in. 140 minutes on hold.
The tech support guy was rude and obviously overworked. Here I am now, paying to ship the system back so I can get used parts put in at my cost.
This system does not perform nearly like it should. The system is quite unstable. It arrived with a scratched case but I was informed I was responsible for payment to ship it back.
3 months into owning this computer the video card fan went out and the power supply blew up because it was too weak for the system. It ruined my hard drive and I lost EVERYTHING.
what is better a single video card or dual video card because i mean i'm about to spend 608 dollars on this machine that im about to buy and i want to know if it will play alot of the games out today i know i might have to upgrade the ram but i don't know if i should put xp or vista but most likely vista because you can use the whole 1gb or video card space and xp pro x64bit don't have alot of drivers what do you think everyone
Unboxing computers are the worst. T.T it takes so long unless you know what ur doing... (i just read the pictures on the top of the box. My dad was trying to cut the box open XD)
mmm, ive always liked the idea of triple core. but cousin got his so called gaming rig from his dad. it had one of these. my grandparents intel pentium E5200 out performed it in games. same graphics card. both had 2GB ram.
dude u must be like retarted some how crysis was intendid for desktops like these he has a good rig but not the best what do u play it on some home pc crysis was ment to be played on a gaming pc.
I just orderd a cybrepower pc, hopefully it will come next week.
I got the quad core AMD 955 and it has 3.2GHZ. i think AMD is is really good beacuse its makes computers very quiet and really good peformence.
For Intel, u can get a little better but they overpirce there proccesors way to much and their proccesers are loud compared to AMD. If u were gonna get an AMD chip and compared to Intel with the same stats on it, u would see that Intel tries to rip u off. AMD beats Intel in many ways
WTF? processors dont make noise. you cant say AMD beats intel in many ways. it5s the specific processor and no, i think intel beats amd in more ways. WoW. i can really see that you are someone who knows nothing about computers.
If u got buttloads of dough to spend and just want the best performance there is , thn intel is the way to go, but if u are on a budget and just want good bang for the buck than amd is where it is at, phenom 2 is a good example. Furthermore commends like yours are nubish.
I bought a cyber power pc, and only buy from these guys if you cant afford a pc from a better company. you save money with them but its a massive gamble. its been 4 months and ive received 2 broken pcs in a row. they claim 24 hr tech support , which means they have an answering machine. all the tech guys are totally rude. they lost my address 4 times, lost my phone number 3 times and take 9-10 days to answer your messages. google these guys and check the bbb before you buy from them.
I'm thinking of getting a comp from there as well. Same case actually. I'm going for the AMD Phenom X4 9850 Quad-Core CPU and ATI Radeon HD 3870 512MB PCI-Express x16. Of course I am taking a better power supply, sound card, and cooling system. I figure I don't want to burn out my new PC with standard parts. Mine is looking to cost me about $700. This is without monitor tho.
i am soo dizzy.. Fk you guys suck at unboxing.

ronald123 2 years ago
I just orderd a cybrepower pc, hopefully it will come next week.
I got the quad core AMD 955 and it has 3.2GHZ. i think AMD is is really good beacuse its makes computers very quiet and really good peformence.
For Intel, u can get a little better but they overpirce there proccesors way to much and their proccesers are loud compared to AMD. If u were gonna get an AMD chip and compared to Intel with the same stats on it, u would see that Intel tries to rip u off. AMD beats Intel in many ways
COOLDOGMATIC 2 years ago
WTF? processors dont make noise. you cant say AMD beats intel in many ways. it5s the specific processor and no, i think intel beats amd in more ways. WoW. i can really see that you are someone who knows nothing about computers.
TeamIain 2 years ago
actually the i7 extreme will smoke any processor on the market right now.
TagItUpz 2 years ago
lol if you wanna pay 1000 bucks
OminousLuBu 2 years ago
No offence, you shouldnt have skimped out on your gfx card, you could have run games so much better if you were willing to pay an extra £30

KytranX1991 2 years ago
Dude I have an AMD Phenom and still could pwn the hell outta you at any online game there is.... 'cept for Halo, because that's a REAL noob game.
arcticf0x8 2 years ago
You're cool *and* you know a lot about computers!
/sarcasm
gammygoogur 2 years ago

This is without monitor tho.
metalwolf72 2 years ago
