Ah,that brings back memories of the time I stayed a tad long in the Kilchoan bar on route to Tobermory and the last ferry did the same for me as I raced down the slipway shouting wait for me,hysterically.Couldn't believe my luck when they actually came back.
@meiklefielder I can't help thinking - if the same person was in a city, wanting to catch a bus, would the driver have behaved in the same way? I doubt it, don't you?
