Hopefully the latest Captain America film coming this July 2011 will be superior to these two stuffy made for television movies and the lame attempt for a feature film done in 1990. I'm sure with Chris Evans as the title character and Hugo Weaving as his arch nemesis The Red Skull (I saw photos of him in the costume and makeup, very impressive) will not disappoint. Like I said, the only Captain America project I did like was the 1940s cliffhanging serial.
Sure this show wasn't great but it was a million times better than the serial - which, btw, wasn't even going to be about Capt. America until a last second decision - so, really, that's the show that "could have had anyone in it". And what have you got against costumes? Super-heroes wear costumes--get used to it! And Reb looks great in it. One thing I do agree with you on is that Len Birman ROCKS! And you should recognize that incredible voice and style because he was the Rocket Robin Hood!!!
this was good, although did it really have to be as long as 3 parts??? i really would have liked you to go over the autrosity of the 90's film captian america. that would have been a blast
Not really a fan of the comic book character, but wasn't his costume, leather and chainmail? You know, as in armor? Too bad they didn't understand that the main thing about Captain America, was not super strength or a motorcycle, but that he could fight like nobody's business.
all comic hero flicks of the 70's were virtually identical to Charlie's Angels in theme, style, outfits, baddies, resolutions, and...most revolting...soundtrack.
beat the red skull! this is why i hate it this two movie!

These films were nightmares but the 1994 Captain America film was even worse if you can believe that

This was a great chapter, I am absolutely dreading the new Captain America film.
The Grease 2 part had me in stitches.
