I live in Paris and when I read some comments about criminality I laugh. I guess it really depends if you're used to travelling or not. I've traveled to a lot of cities in the world and I can say Paris is definitively not the worse. I felt my life more threatened by criminality in Las Vegas outside the stripe than anywhere else in the world.
