  • IDOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Very cool song, Donna Summer was real popular back in the 1980's. She still looks good to me.

  • esta cancion es muy buenaaa!!!

  • Happy times on holiday in Majorca and this playing in some nearby cafe during the good old eighties.

  • This is great !!

  • KERMIS!! SWING TIME!!

  • LOVE, LOVE , LOVE DONNA

  • My favourite song of the late 80's. i desperately threw myself to the dancefloor and felt like flying, inspired and taken away by the sound of the music and the amazing vibrations that went with it.... Yes, i mean it, closed my eyes and felt like flying... unforgetable nights... thank you!!!

  • GREAT VIDEO!!! MY FAVORITE DONNA SUMMER SONG!!

  • Old but gold!

  • SAW's finest 3.34

  • 2:54 and 3:28 I am a member of it hehehe, i'm gonna get you all!

  • Great song and I love this video!

  • What is this woman doing for gay rights? Nothing.

  • @JhonathanFree ...and you know this how? Just because you don't see her here, doesn't mean she isn't working her ass off for the gay community in another country. Some times the US follows other countries examples -(gay military)...

Judging by what you don't see isn't always correct. I didn't see a lot of people doing work for gay rights but they did and still do.

  • @JhonathanFree

Before you chide Donna for not totally coming forth supporting gay marriage, remember that other celebrities with huge gay followings have said MUCH worse. Bette Midler said she didn't think it was a good idea because, "gay men like to move around a lot" (she meant that gay men are promiscuous. She said this right on Larry King Live).

  • MY BEST TIME IN PARIS

  • Ah yes recorded during the great drummer shortage of the late 80's... Good song tho :)

  • One of SAW best productions!

  • My favor song ever ... thanks Donna

  • I really love Dona and this song, it is amazing !

  • forever in the time!!!!!

  • love the running man dance

  • Thank You for the HD!!!!! only way to see this video.

I love how charming and gorgeous Donna Summer looks in this video. The hoop ear rings, her hair style, smiles and moves. Shes so hot and charming!

The white guy with the mullet and the crazy asian dude dancing are pretty cool . Plus her outfits. This video is really a ten for all that choregraphy and editing . The background effects are a plus too. Then you have this great song. and each note and chorus is followed by a cool part.

  • @Danielboulder1 Yes so much better than todays disgusting/condescending rap lyrics of today; rap lyrics that glorifies gang violence, sexual perversion, sexism, racism and being stupid is cool; no wonder why most minorities today have STD's and criminal records with a good percentage of white youths aping like idiots to rap culture.

  • 0:27 is the reason i do not run in public

  • @ESmp40 0:27 is the reason i started running in public!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! a time when good singers just sang a good song. No flashing images just pure feel good music and simple heart felt videos :-)

  • A Perfect voice.

  • Limmy <3

  • Limmy says yasssssssssssssssssss

  • the Queen of disco.

  • This must have been out during the time I was graduating pre-k, because this song reminds me of it.

  • This is tasteful with a message with great taste and singing skills

  • This is tasteful with a message with great taste

  • Lol! Really good fucking music indeed! Stock Aitken Waterman production line crap. Same backing track to a million songs from the 80's. Same video as all theirs.. utter sell out..

  • The Queen

  • @otomo......sorry if I misread your comment, couldn't get past all the foul mouthed words........so unnecessary........

  • they play the dance mix of this at my job at Abercrombie, my favorite song on the playlist!

  • A sexy song with beautiful uplifting lyrics!

  • how much does kelly rowland look like donna summer

  • This song always makes me think on my childhood because my Dad and his friends were in band. They had lots of gigs. So the family tagged along. This song was in their setlist, and for whatever reason, it's the one that stuck with me the most. Thanks for the memories.

  • Donna Summer is a painter, too. Check out some of her abstract art online.

  • All the music producers of today obviously have their heads stuck WAY UP their ASSES, cuz they seem to have completely lost sight of what STYLE and ORIGINALITY was all about!

The musicians of the 80's not only looked and sounded GREAT, but the lyrics in their songs actually carried some MEANING in them.

In other words, 80's music simply had more MASS APPEAL!

If the SHIT-ASS music of today had that very same kind of profound effect on us, then we wouldn't be switching back to all our 80's faves!

  • MY fave saw album alongside Everybody Knows and Ten Good Reasons

  • @OtomoTenzi thats true what your are saying , they ought to outlaw some of this bullshit they are throwing down now a days , what a waste of airtime

  • @OtomoTenzi you are a freakin loser! Donna is hot and you are jealous, why would you attack her in this way! you''re an asshole! either way....and stop using God's name to express yourself you illiterate prick!

  • @mellyann67

Hey, I was NOT attacking her! : P

Please read my comments again carefully.

  • @OtomoTenzi get mad much?

  • @OtomoTenzi And eventually the kids of today will look up videos of Lady Gaga and say the same things you're saying. It's nostalgia. If you'd grown up in the '70s, you'd think disco was the greatest music ever. (You'd probably still be listening to Donna Summer, but you get my point.)

  • @OtomoTenzi While I probably wouldn't have said it quite like that... you're right that today's music doesn't hold a candle to the '80s.

  • thanks so much for posting...great memories.

  • what a song!!!!

  • back then it used to be real

  • memories.....

  • memories.....

  • ddr ii ftw

  • This is a real exitaso lyrics donna Summer. thanks for being so great queen of love..love love and México....

  • Reminds me of some great times!

  • What an upbeat song. Loved how everyone seemed to be smiling and having fun. Pretty nostalgic.

  • LaDonna hit #7 in Billboard, 6-24-89. God bless ya, sister Donna! Thanx, my friend, for postin' it.

  • @DaveWollenberg you're welcome,

  • So great! Donna Summer is such a beautiful lady in so many ways. Wonderful song with that familiar disco beat. Great!

  • Just wonderful......saved my soul during some very hard times...Thank You so much Donna Summer.

  • I've always wanted to know if this song was written for Mel & Kim, considering the lyrics...

  • It was 1988, I was at college then and in town on Saturday afternoon shopping. I saw a girl I knew from college and really liked so asked if she was going to the big party that night at the only club in town. She said yes. I remember meeting her in the dance floor and kissing her to this song....I'm married now (another lifetime).....

  • Curti muito esse som em 1989,saudades clube xv itapira sp.

  • A Donna Summer é e sempre será a gde. DIVA da DISCO, e de uma época FANTÁSTICA e que só deixa gdes. SAUDADES...e claro p/ quem viveu intensamente aquela época.

  • super fab, super gay late 80's!!!

  • super song,its remind me ,when i was 12y

  • Great comeback song for her

  • Such a happy tune that hooks you in from the start and makes you wanna dance. Some SAW stuff got a bit monotonous, but they created some real corkers like this too.

  • I LOVE IT !!!

  • love donna summer

  • for the first few seconds I thought I'd been rick rolled

  • I disagree, this song is great ,but to me the 80's is the turning point in music where it all started to go bad after the 70's which was so diverse and the 60's which was an explosion of new music

  • the little girls at the end of the video is so beautiful.

  • any budy can tell n]me thje ever best song

  • hi great song

  • hi

  • Feelgood music, no slags.. no crass lyrics just fun!

  • Takes me back to dancing at Village Station in Dallas!

  • @britneysbigbush

    Me Too! LOL

  • oh my i love this tune from donna she is definatly 1 of the all time greatest singers, she is bless from god with her incredible voices ever. PEACE ALL :)

  • High Heals, Short Skirts, Big Hair, Lots of Makeup, ahh, those were the dancing days....miss them

  • that free stroke dance lol

  • When music was still fun and could put a smile on your face! instead of this weird dressed woman on heroin stealing madonna's songs and being number 1 or those rappers singing about ho's and bitches

  • @Steev82 lol so true!

  • @Steev82 You said it. The 80's was a blast, so much good music.

  • I miss the 80's

  • I want to know who out there has a similar mix tape with all the following songs on it: "This time I know it's real" by Donna Summer, "No more rhyme" by Debbie Gibson, "On our own" by Bobby Brown, "Coldhearted" by Paula Abdul, "Turned Away" by Chucki Booker, "Secret Rendezvous" by Karyn White, "Don't wanna lose you" by Gloria Estefan, "Shower me with your love" by Surface, "I like it" by Dino. Notice the variety you could record from the radio back then: R&B, pop, adult contemp all together

  • @MrChicago891 try to find The greatest song from the 80- es . maybe they are there !!!

  • @MrChicago891 I got ya covered with Secret Rendezvous and I Like It as well as Coldhearted. That Karyn White song RULES. Long live the 80s !~

  • Donna was in her late 30s here?? and she looks fab, better than Gaga does today and Gaga is just 24 or whatever!!

  • @GibbyGibbyGibb Donna Summer was 41 years old when this video aired (1989)

  • this one is for my ex soon to be mine again.

  • I need the next ride on the first time machine back to the 80s

  • I thought it was you ,but no .It was all the love I had to give,a stupid eclipse of the heart, my loneliness, my weakness and God ,you fooled me ,a simple sad leech.I pitied you then,I still pity you now.Stupid me...or both, thats why it's worst.

  • at the time in the 80s we were horrified that what is this pop-music sh*t - cos we were still dreaming of Shakepeare and Plato and those type of cats - 20-30 years later - it's like - wow ! - the music was genius ! sure it ain't 'deep' but it IS a pure celebration of being alive !

  • @sanjuz Indeed. Today's musical manure has to be too contemptible to make this Stock/Aitken/Waterman production (Rick Astley, Jason Donovan et al) end up being a classic. But, hey, it's a compliment to Ms Summer's talent.

  • The decade was a nine-year nightmare (contrary to the present-day romanticizing that's become epidemic), but I sure do miss the music. Donna looked better here than she did in her disco days. (She looks better than me today!) Love this video!

  • the 80,s the absolute best time of my life

  • I would love to see a live show of Spears, Lady TrampTramp, Rihanna (singing thru my nose) - all singing together just to show how pathetic and inferior the current pop stars are to the real thing. Even now Summer could embrass them to no end.

  • temazo!!

  • what a flashback to highschool :) thanks!!

  • Let her sing next to Lady Gaga and the whole world will see that Lady Gaga should remain silent forever!

  • @mrssalina Donna Summer would never bother singing next to Lady "suck ass" Gaga. Donna is a true diva of music. SAW and Donna will forever rock the world!!

  • YEAH!! Just loved that music!!! <3

  • agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • actually the video is a 4:3 stretched to wide. it was never 16:9. nevertheless, a great Donna song - one of her best! look beyond the aspect ratios of vids and focus on the music.

  • Glorious, thank you.

  • love it love it

  • We live in the time when pop stars can't even sing in tune!:(

  • Donna Summer has one the all time best pop singing voices!

  • @mrssalina right you are! and best looking legs to go with that voice!

  • What do you mean ONE of the all time best pop singing voices ?

  • @mrssalina That was a mistake I mean Donna Summer has THE all time best pop singing voice!

Not one of the best - no one can name a pop singer who can match her.

  • Donna Summer has one the all time best pop signing voices!

  • 80s win =00s and today's decade = lose. the 80s had the best most varied music around, plus the songs were better too. much of today's music pales into comparison to the 80s. glad i'm an 80s baby! :-)

and this track was arguably one of donna's greatest ever- and still is. still loving it!

  • I was a DJ when this came out 89? anyway, always have always will love Donna Summer (LG) great voice, great woman...BEAUTIFUL!

  • Agree, love the 80s, the best music decade ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember loving this song while lusting after/sobbing over many a boy.

  • One of the greatest voices in the music biz'-ever! And one of my favorite tunes from her! All Hail Miss Donna Summer!

  • wowwww-no one dislikes this video. How could ya? It's AWESOME

  • "This time i know is for real"... i hope he knew this.

  • That's how Wendy Williams would look if she loses 50 lbs.

  • walk a tightrope way up high! this time i know its for real!

  • I can't believe, she's over 40 years old in this vid. She looks so fine, full of energy and of course sexy as hell...

  • donna is a under rated vocalist

  • @MsFanmail how in the hell is Donna under rated?! she is a LEGEND!!!

  • Sounds like something Kylie would sing in that era. It stinks of Pete Waterman. Love it!

  • a time where pop music was the best

a time where there were so many talented artists

a time where we had our best childhood

a time where there were no stupid reality games

a time where everything looked so inocent and simple

a time where movies and music had QUALITY

THAT WAS THE 80S the best music decade ever

  • @lostintimeline this is the 80s rock music, donna summer and her disco/dance music

  • @lostintimeline that is true!!!

  • @lostintimeline Amen to that. No Truer words have been spoken ever!

  • @lostintimeline , I agree wit each word you said ; i was a child but i enjoyed this music so much because my sister is oldier 10 years than me and she listened Donna summer many times and i liked it. I felt very happy each time she put this song and danced with me ; it was very funny . Good times baby !

  • @lostintimeline and a time when we reflect,

  • @lostintimeline i agree with you mate. was the best decade of music.

  • @lostintimeline It couldn´t have said it better myself!
