  • yesss honey.

  • what a music!!

  • Cliccate sulla pagina di facebook "La mitica Dance anni '90" e rivivrete tutti i migliori successi dance anni 90 e primi anni 2000. Non rimarrete delusi!!!

  • Sunday morning after ripping up The Pressure from Sounds of Blackness, the dj cuts back to the intro of The Pressure and introduces this version for the first time. The entire Sound Factory went NUTZ for Junior that morning as he took us to church. Now those were the dayz

  • Masters In The House

  • Hallo ikvind het een sterke liedje.

  • What can I say.........dog bollocks song

  • la-la-lì / la-lai-là / la la lì-li / lai lai la

    simplicity IS genious...

  • I have 2 words for you.....The Shelter NYC!!!

    Nicety124......

  • I'm obviously a huge Aretha fan, but what makes Deborah Cooper's better is not the vocalization, but the clear sense that Deborah is FEELING these lyrics. You truly get the sense that she "get[s] up outta bed / I put on my clothes / 'cause I got bills to pay". Aretha's is amazing too, but it lacks the hungry desperation that made us all run to the dancefloor when Deborah Cooper's version came on.

  • All props to the Queen of Soul, but Deborah OWNS this song! This may be one of the greatest dance/house songs ever. Aretha's is an imitation, though a great one. Stick with the classic and get your ass on the floor!

  • anyone who went to heaven in detroit will remember the queens working it out to this song. memories.

  • "Oh What A Classic This Is" This is one of my all time favorites

  • I love both versions! Aretha's is more gospel nuanced. I love the way Aretha hollers but I also remember hearing the original that Deborah did. I think it's a matter of preference when you have two formidable singers singing the same song. I wouldn't say Aretha has no business singing this because a good portion of house singers are indeed Gospel singers or Gospel inspired. Aretha is the epitome of this.

  • agree with trace was listening top this the other day and the original vocal is the better one sorry Aretha. This takes me way back another track that DJ would rewind again and again at 5 in the morning

  • This is the ONLY song that has been done by Aretha and someone else where the someone else did it better ...

  • DEBORAH OWNES THIS SONG. Hands down.........

  • *This is the shit I hated fat Aretha's version***

  • Yes this was the Sound Factory.

  • Fantastic track, makes me smile inside every time I hear it. Still sounds amazing after nearly 20 years.

  • My old club anthem. R.I.P. David Cole!

  • This woman is an orchestra, all on her own! DAMN!

  • she's nice but Aretha cannot be beat - her delivery is still the all-time best - people like Aretha Franklin come once in two lifetimes - better appreciate!

  • no baby... Areatha is great but this song belongs to Deborah Cooper.... let the queens fill you in honey... NO ONE did it like this!!

  • :) :)

  • LEGEND!!!

  • Ooo Wee The Cave in Las Vegas -- Miz. Babee, DJ Simone, use to wear the F**K out of this song and the children would mop up the floor with this song...heaven help ya if you were in the way...lol

  • Thank you ... This has made my day :)

  • This is dope! I love Aretha, but prefer this version.. thankx 4 posting it.

  • Deborah NEVER got the props she deserved! Aretha had to come along and RUIN the song with her greed. I have the original CD with all the tracks, including the plus 10 min. versions and I hold it in high esteem! Clubbing those days was a very different experience to now. But then, maybe I just sound old.....

  • No one and i mean NO ONE banged this out like JUNIOR!

  • Yeah those where the days =[

  • Sound Factory 27th street ! those were the days!!

  • Take me back to the good old club days. Saw in at a club called tracks in DC. The place was done when she finished.

  • Dear Lord, I LIVED at Tracks in DC in the 80's. I've never been to a better club, to this day. And this song still kills me, it's one of the best house tracks ever!

  • David Coles and Robert Civilles at their best!!!... do u have their remix of Mariah Carey's "Make it happen"?... please post.... Junior would send the kids with both tracks!!!!.. thanks for the great post..............

  • For Whats its worth, I was there for the recording of this Tck with David Cole..It will remain a trigger for my Nostalgia forever. You go DEBORAH !

  • Excelent Mix!

  • RIP David Cole,..you are missed,.....

  • Wow, good memories! C (Clivilles) & C (Cole) Music Factory.
