@truespyfan - hey bloke, you speakin my language. my thesis in short is this; with the advent of access to this very medium we are utilising here to communicate, a whole generation - gen y, have been left to flounder. Why? think of shows like australian idol etc. where is the incentive to develop talent, tour pubs etc. think the whole tech thing... it seems to me that the glut of talent in the 80's was due to people having time without mobiles, 24hr TV and all that other shit that fucks gen y!
