  • Il mio primo gioco per amiga 500!!!

  • Thanks for sharing. I played up to Aerial Race on my dad's Amiga 1000, and I think I'd seen it beaten once, perhaps, but the next one, I'd never seen more than the beginning. Thanks for showing me how it ends. I wish they'd remake this for Android/iOS, or maybe Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. Today's gamers should have to go through it. Throw me a Thumbs Up if you jumped to either side on the first level, and took the side road to the Goal. Right was easier than left, IIRC.

  • oh god, my childhood.

  • I love the song of the second level.

  • WHAT a pro! I player it on amiga emulator and failed at the third level.

  • The game is a lot shorter than I remember playing it as a kid.

  • this game looks so scary O.o

  • That game was so fucking hard!

  • what the...that's about it? it looks so easy but i know it isn't. i never made it further than the bird stage

  • @BitchinVR6 i never made past the 2nd stage on the genisis (and i still have it 2) aw the memories

  • I lold at the impossible figure at 3:39

  • My GOD, the music is a terrible underutilization of the Amiga's capabilities. I'm not sure how they managed to screw up so badly.

And you know what? You can still hear the goodness of the compositions under the crappy samples.

  • @InvisibleSandwichTM It's because the original game is an Atari ST game. Most ports did have crappy sound..

  • @fredrik999z No, the original is an arcade game, which had excellent sound.

  • i havent played this game in years

i feels just like yesterday when i couldnt even beat my sister

    good times good times

  • after having been forced to looks at sabrina online by a friend. Ican't help but wonder if Sabrina played marble amdness on her amiga before she got quake

  • Awe man...this brings back memories....:-)

  • i still cant beat this P.O.S.

  • Oh my god, I remember the game, I remember dozens of wasted hours and I remember the frustration. It was great.

  • Damn you're good :D

  • That music is sooo Amiga. Lol

  • This game is awesome.

  • looks awesome

  • seems like a verryyy annoying game

  • I hate to say that, but like NES version better :/

NES version was smoother and had better music somehow...

And never seen better version of that game on any platform...

GBA version is not frame-fixed, so it depends on CPU frequency (and it plays too fast on emulator)

Java (cellphone) version is only good if you have cellphone with matching resolution and without touchscreen...

ZX Spectrum one is just one huge fail - it's laggy, and totally monochrome and silent from what I remember...

  • I played it with the joystick on comodore amiga... what a dumass I was

  • 20 years pass..... i was 8 when i play this...

  • I have a feeling this game isn't as easy as it looks...

  • @tdog158 haha, same here man. Ive never played it, but it looks hella easy. Im guessing the controls are a bitch

  • @tdog158 It's not dude. I tell ya, the controls made it FEEL as if the ball was rolling. If you want it to stop rolling in one direction, you press the other direction. Yeah the controls were a bitch.

  • the music is so creepy and cool at the same time.

  • ah the memories... i broke like 5-6 joysticks on this bastard :D

  • This game commanded the ultimate ball control and skill. These days id be shit at it because years of brainless killing on games these days has depleted my skill of true gaming

  • i have this game for psp i cant beat the 3 level

  • This game pisses me off so bad >=(

  • @antichatboot0 More Like Hamsterball

  • What a great game this was..... Bravo C64.... the grand daddy of today's PC's

  • This was my first ever Amiga game! XD

  • @rad4life1

same here, it was one of my very first 5 games, others being Arkanoid, Emerald Mine, Mind Walker..lol. Amiga version was the best back in the day...with c64 second best version...

  • @abcdq2 Yes! I had Mind Walker and Arkanoid too! :D

  • This game was hard as hell.

  • looks like hamsterball?

  • @bigrainydays

Another really great version is "Rolling Madness 3d"--google and download it!---exact rebuild of Marble Madness--makes Amiga version look very dated, and a great update to the original Arcade/Mame version.

  • This was one of my favourite games. The furthest I ever got was in sight of the goal on the Arial Race.

    I'm astounded by your skill.

  • man no way, i used to play this all the time when i was a kid on my dads amiga.

  • even tho the gravics are not very good it still looks like SUCH a addicting game

  • imma have to crank it twice just to make up for having watched this. thanks.

  • it's like hamster ball

  • Great game!!

  • 3:40 = Mindfuck

  • @ShanesDominoez Hell yeah!

  • I am convinced a port of Marble Madness to the iPad (and other tablets) would be a success. Much more intuitive than using a joystick, like we had to do in 1986 on our beloved Amigas.

  • best music, such nostalgia

  • the music keeps getting more unsettling, sounds like Steve Reich behind a computer.

  • I remember this on my 500! Stunning game with eerie music.

  • That like hamster ball

  • i reckon this version had the best music

  • Am I the only one who finds the music unsettling...?

  • Thanks 4 uploading, id completly forgotten about this gem

  • It sounds better on NES

  • @TarutaruPompidou Do you think Depp can pull it off? I was thinking Robert Deniro. With Kevin Spacey as a golfball, Morgan Freeman as a tennis ball who's getting tired of rolling and Robin Williams as a frozen pea who wants in on the game.

  • this game is easy

  • This guy is a newb

  • It looks like a direct port from the Commodore 64 to Amiga. The Amiga is capable of much better graphics than this. Awesome game tho.

  • wow u are great at this game. this game used to piss me off cus I sucked so much at it

  • @BUILDINGWITHBULLION Haha, me too. I dont think i ever got past the 5th level. Lucky i had 2-300 games on the amiga

  • AAAAAAAAAAGH KILLER SLINKYS

  • Man, how did you do that good, you only fell one time

  • 2:21

    xD

  • was this on amiga? i'm guessing they didn't utilize the hardware that much...?

  • games of today have lost the charm that the games of the past had...

  • My parents bought my brother and I an Amiga 500 in the late 80's and this was one of the games that I use to play on it :). This brings back so many memories and so much frustration :P I never reached that space stage but I tried my heart out at the time. Thanks Cubex55 for this blast from the past :) I loved seeing it again :)

  • The Amiga version was one of my childhood's favourite games. =) I never got past level 4 as a kid, though.

  • The ultimate isometric game!

  • LMAO at the farting pilars at 02:23..

  • Reminds me of super monkey ball but with less monkeys.. XD

  • I own the nes version of this I've never made it past the last level

  • Reminds me of Hamsterball

  • This music and sound is raping my ears

  • ;d

The ORIGINAL version of this game is from ATARI to ATARI System1!

Not for AMIGA! (BGM I think)

  • I had this game on Amiga. I beat it too like you. Had to play several times to figure it out. Great Amiga game. Really hairy until you memorize the courses. ^^

  • It looks like Super Monkey Ball...

  • @infinityman953: Clearly, showing you age with that comment...

  • @inphanta ???

  • @infinityman953: Marble Madness predates Super Monkey Ball by about 16 years, so quite how MM can look like SMB is beyond me. That's what I was alluding to.

  • @inphanta I don't care ok? All I'm saying is that it look like SMB.

  • 4:33 the last section with dissapearing floors= so damn hard. I played this as a tiny kid and after 20+ years i finally beat it on NES. This game, like Tetris, was a very simple game and idea but still brilliant.

  • it's actually just like hamsterball except it's just a marble

  • wow did u really play this in one run or did u use the memory option of an emulator ? to make this longplay vid? if u did it without cheating nice skills i cant even get past level 4 .... but i stopped playing before my pc gets broke lol i'm going to have a nervous breakdown soon lol

  • thumbs up if u pressed this vid bcus u tought it was a swastiska on the picture

  • Weird, i came here because i saw a group on steam with name marble madness, so i googled it and dammn this is the biggest shit i've ever sawn!

  • I can't get past level 3. I keep running out of time. :(

  • @TommyCD1 What version of the game are you playing, there's two versions, this one and another one which gives you significantly less time at the beginning of all levels except the first one

  • Man, that black marble is always a dick.

  • Wow. This so resembles Gyroscope for the commie.

  • that game is on my cell phone

  • I cant even get past level2

  • I could never finish this game on my 500 when i was a kid :(

I did however finish it on my PS2 a while ago hahhah. :D

  • My new ringtone 0.38 to 1.08

  • no dip captain obious

  • who can also see the optical illusion at 3:31?

  • @manuels229 some m. c. escher stuff right there heh

thats what i like about these graphics, you can make some good illusions with them

  • Holy cow mate that you must be the Marble Madness king. I remember playing this game non stop however could never get to the end of the last stage. Wow that brings back memories! Did you use a mouse or joystick?

  • I remember the Amiga version as the one I played as a child, this damn game scared the ever loving shit out of me, not only is the game nerve wracking in itself but the music is composed to put a person on edge. God bless this awesome game.

  • such an old school game i remember for the nes

  • i have this for my ps2!! its sooooo much fun!!! i can never beat the 3rd level though. i always run out of time!!

  • Yheah, LONGplay! :D

  • epic

  • 0:35 marble's feel fear too.

  • @antichatboot0

Except that Marble Blast Ultra ripped off Marble Madness, as this was the first game of its kind!

  • @cubex55 well if you think about it they are extremely different...about the only thing in common is the marble

  • @cubex55 this game look like hamstarball :D

  • @cubex55 No shit, fuckin kids these days.

  • @cubex55

who really gives a shit about graphics? as long as you know what's going on within the game, I don't see the problem

  • @cubex55 whoops, sorry, wrong person lol

  • @antichatboot0

It's a pretty accurate copy of the Atari arcade game in 1986, lol now you like like a bit of a dick don't you?

  • @antichatboot0 Shitty graphics? This is a game from 1984!

  • @OMA2k - yeah, it's actually amazing graphics for the time, haha

  • @antichatboot0

Huh! This game was released 20 years before marble blast ultra??

  • @DanielAdamBell1977 well, you're only 9 months late to the party....

  • @antichatboot0 wow youre stupid.

  • @ledaandrada way to comment on a dead post...

  • @antichatboot0 way to answer a comment in a dead post....

  • @antichatboot0 Hey dumbass, this is from 1985. They didn't have the technology to made 3D Graphics dumbshit. Go troll somewhere else.

  • @nonobaOMGWEEGEE2 "to make" not "to made" retard....and notice this is months old....and i have found new places to troll....you should try it...

  • @antichatboot0 You should try to troll in your ass son.

  • I remember i could never get past the marble-eating-worms for some reason, and i got extremely annoyed by it

  • Hmm. I hadn't seen this on the amiga before, I assumed that the music would be a lot higher quality than the NES, but it's a bit worse. Did this support MT-32 by chance? :)

  • Lol i was just playing this

  • aawwwww I lost that game It was my only game. :,(

  • omg what a flashback! i played this so much it's insane what kind of memories this digs up. :)

  • Level 3 music sounds quite creepy in my opinion :o

  • 2:38 OMG, look out for attacking penises. =O Run little marble, run!

  • omg i remember this i used to play it all the time as a kid :o

  • Hard ass looking game

  • thats like the game hamsterball but its pixel.....

  • did the marble died?

  • Great game and sfx/audio. Thanks for sharing!

  • 0:37 - Oh no!I'm going to be attacked by mighty putty!

  • Oh thanks, as child i loves this game and played it many many times on my Amiga 500.

  • Maybe they should make a movie out of this, with the marble as the main character.

  • @Daniel4646 What else than the marble? :D

  • Of course an evil entity which does not want the marble to succeed. What else?

  • @Daniel4646 good luck with a plot

  • @Daniel4646

Movies based on games invariably turn out shite :/

  • @GlasgowPhilosipher

It just depends on how good and/or flexible the screenwriters and directors are. In the previous cases, they were probably not.

  • @Daniel4646

/watch?v=WHJqBylcFqA - I think you were heard out

  • @figaro589

Not quite what I imagined, but funny it is!

  • Man that brings back so many memories. Not all good. But it was always the frustrating games, that put victory just out of reach, that you went back to over and over again. That's what games today are missing. Actual Skilled Gameplay. Sure PVP games have a required skill lvl, but these were the original games of skill. I wonder how many people use to pour their pocket money into these things at the old arcades. LOL. (Sticks Hand up and smiles)

  • A great looking conversion though a bit to easy.

  • Oh that music still haunts me. I never knew I was so close to finishing the game. I could only get to the last level and that was it.

  • excellent work!

  • excellent work!

  • Oh this game really used to annoy the hell out of me lol

  • i used to play this on the sega

years ago now look at technology of gaming systems that some people take for granted and say that this game sucks cuz of graphics-graphics arent everything!

  • lol some boards remind me of that stair's picture.... which way is up?

  • This Game is Cool <3 :D

    5*

  • what is the padge

    ??

  • Lol, damn you´re good.

  • This is ANdy Balk. I have the original tape from the 1980's.

  • oh the NES muic for this game where far more superior in my opinion

  • Why do i see a resemblence to HamsterBall?

  • It's kind of weird, some levels seem to be almost the same as in Hamsterball indeed.

  • I think Hamsterball is a clone/remake of Marble Madness.

  • Man I played that didn't get pass level3

  • This game was so hard it was ridiculous.

  • i tried that game. its hard! good job 5/5

  • The music was really good.

  • mad skills

  • i used to almost pull my hair out playing this game, it got me really stressed haha

  • i think now i understand why you replaced the music

  • that game was harddd

  • I finished this game about 3 times. Quite difficult, but with practice you can finish it. One of my favourite games for the AMIGA 500, and probably one of the first I´ve ever played.

  • Damn you make this look easy - i was only about 6 when I played this a lot but it was a bastard at times! Especially those marbles that try and attack you....

  • absolutely evil game! /GRR

  • I used to play this all the time on the Game Boy. Hehah... 3:39 I love the perspective there. XD Totally messes with your head.

  • this game is so Psychadelic

  • Wow you owned
